  • Yup saw these at my local. Only had the iced vovos and wagon wheels left, they had cleaned out the choc scotch fingers :(

    • Same! Wagon wheel is nice, just polished off a block

      • Wagon wheel is the poor iced vovo

        • Can't argue with that

  • I bought the Iced Vovo and Wagon Wheel varieties, tastes remarkably like the original, and the chocolate quality is at least as good as Cadbury blocks.

Do not buy! I bought 1, planned to have 1 row, and devoured the whole block in like 10 minutes. This is a PSA!! :)

    • +2

      Weakness is a choice.

  • No stock left at my local :(

  • Panic buying

    Ginger Nut

    That’s my nickname!

    • +1

      ginger, nut!

  • Didn't know this was a multi store thing. Saw these at Mooroolbark yesterday, grabbed the last 3 Wagon Wheel ones, they also had a couple Ginger Nuts that I left behind. Otherwise they were basically tapped there.

It's $1.50 because these are so gross! Prefer the Darrell Lea blocks.

    • +3

Imho the Darrell Lea ones are awful. The double whammy is they cost more.

    • +1

Speak for yourself! The scotch fingers are so good

    • The Darrel Lee black liquorice (only at Woolies) is amazing. There is an Easter egg version I'm getting the Mrs.

But I was very fond of this Ginger Nut. Bought 2 at $1.50.

Tried them all. Iced vovo is the only one I rave about. I don't like the iced vovo biscuits but as a chocolate it rocks.

    • +2

      iced vovo - best
      wagon wheel - pretty good
      ginger nut - meh
scotch finger - will never know, hoarders got to it

      • there's a reason they did….

      • Scotch finger block is a let down. They've already perfected the biscuit version, it couldn't get any better when they made it into a block

  • +1

Iced Vovo is the best I reckon. Ginger Nut would probably be alright with milk chocolate, but dark, nah.

  • Comfort food!!!

  • +1

    Iced Vovo, is really nice.

  • Anyone know when this deal ends?

    • You missed it. It just finished Tuesday night ( I.e. few hours ago).

Prices go from Wednesday to Tuesday, and Coles updates very quickly after midnight. If you search online, they are back to $5.

      • Would still check even if online price goes back up, $1.50 seems more like clearance product rather than sale item

      • +1

They were showing $5 for me last night online, so I was hoping they were clearance. I have to brave the crowds today anyway, so I guess I'll check out my local Coles, and see what I can see. :)

        • looks like it's finished, comment below scanning at $5 :(

  • Tried the scotch finger variety with reasonably low expectations but it's actually one of the best chocolate 'combos' I've ever had. It's hard to describe but it actually feels like I'm eating a scotch finger covered in chocolate.

Still does not sound very interesting.

Why eat a biscuit covered with chocolate instead of just eating chocolate? Why dilute the taste?

      • +2

You must be fun at parties

      • +2

Lol. Someone sell this man a "one ingredient" cookbook! :)

        • -1

I don't know the exact relative costs between the biscuit and the chocolate.

But I assume that the chocolate would cost significantly more.

If that's the case, you might as well buy the things individually, and eat them together.

That's what I mean by diluting.

Found some at my local but they scanned at $5

    • Because the price changed overnight
