I know it's COTD but I also checked this out on ebay and they sell for around double the price.

    This has been being flogged by COTD for many months. People don't really want them, or they'd be sold out by now.

    "Don't pay up to $199" - OK i wont… and i doubt anyone else would!

    I hate how they over inflate prices to the point no one would pay that amount!

    Blue do in fact make some really good quality microphones, however this isn't one of them.

    bought one from cotd last time they had it at this price. this thing is an unusable piece of junk. the webcam is useless, and the levels on the microphone are so low it has to be in your mouth for correct volume. if you mount it on top of your monitor and shout from your seat you might get one bar of level in the windows recording level meter. this is because there is no proper microphone driver for the mic and it appears to windows as a "generic usb audio device" which does not have a "mic boost" slider. i've tried this on win7, and my friend has tried on win xp, ubuntu and mac os with not much better results. i e-mailed their tech support but they are ignorant. can't even flog them off on ebay.

    If you want a mic worth around $200 get the Yeti from Blue. Amazon had it on sale for $89.99 but only ships to U.S unfortunately, so you'd have to use a third party to ship. Here's a link:

    I bought a Yeti from Ebay shipped for about $220 inc. shipping earlier this year. Superb quality and worth every dollar.
