Hi guys,

Dan Murphy has this premium German Pilsner for $14.90. For 5 Litres of quality beer. Has got to be one of the better beer deals in a while!

Picked one up at the Richmond store yesterday and the website shows there's still more stock (1 keg left on display when I picked mine up)

Not available at all stores though so check the store stock in your local Dan before paying them a visit.

        I have just been doing the coopers kits. I love Coopers pale ale so that is regularly being made and this current batch is the Coopers lager which I had a taste the other night and was coming along nicely and will be great for summer.

        they are the easiest way to brew and produce good results, and you can dry hop if you want as well.

        Just went into the Sth melbourne branch and enquiried about this.

        This said that they haven't ordered any stock for over 6 weeks…and it looks like the keg isn't in their next order…so no idea when it would be back in stock…if it even is.

    Brighton haven't had stock since jan 11. There's 5 at parkdale, 5 at richmond, 1 at ballarat. can't recall the rest.

      drink it in one night otherwise it will go flat.

      how to drink:
      put keg on table
      lay down under table, face towards the tab (near enough is good enough)
      open tab
      enjoy

    Thanks, a great deal. These kegs serve great beer. Have had 2 put aside for me in Adelaide! The beer is supposed to last up to a month once the keg is opened, but it tastes so good that they rarely last more than one night!

    its pretty impressive that you can check store stock at Dan Murphys too.

    They are quite obviously using the same IT platform as Dick Smith and Woolworths. I think its great.

      I have looked up quite a few sites and they all indicate that it's a pilsner not a lager. But hey, I am happy enough since it's a quality beer at a quality price
