      The creation/building side of things is really top-tier. Lots of different base parts, both surface and subsea. Customizable bits and pieces; you could go nuts for days building incredible things. The music maker too is pretty next level - quite cool.

      The combat is a bit so-so, really just a means to an end. The exploration is next to nothing unfortunately. There is a good ~20h or so of seeing new planets which is awesome, but after that you start to get a bit of a copy-paste-tweak feel.

      If you're a creator/builder, this is your jam.

        Worth it for that price for sure! Bought it around whhen the NEXT update came out and have 67 hours on steam log. Its alot of fun but as old mate said its becomes same same after awhile but worth it for that price!

      Got over 100 hours on the game so far, yep.
      If you're after a nice chill game with exploration this is it.

    according to the most recent reviews, all the included expansions and updates have vastly improved the game!! I'm pretty tempted considering how cheap this sale is

      Yeah it's a completely different game to when it first released. I love doing space battles with my mate then we jump to a new system and land on a planet and set up an underwater base.

    The Internet Historian's channel has a pretty comprehensive video on the entire history of issues with No Man Sky's and its evolution into the game it was supposed to have been all along.

    TL;DR: Yes, it's finally become the original vision that was promised years ago and had many, many new features and expanded game play added on top of that.

    And the game devs still do. Ongoing expansions at no additional cost for existing game owners.

    Do these keys work on Steam? Was looking for another Steam version so I can teamup with 12 year old, interested offspring. The earlier GoG code did not.

    They've done very well for themselves financially, it depends on how well the owner shares it with the rest of the dev's though.

    They were the 3th best selling game on Steam in 2019 at one point, and their sales in 2016 was over 2 million copies.
