  • How fast is delivery? Can it just be picked up from the show room at Wetherill Park ?

    • +4

      Hi,

We currently don't encourage pick up from our warehouse, and offer free delivery within 60KM of the warehouse due to the COVID-19 circumstances.

      Delivery is within 3-5 days.

However, if you must, please leave an order note specifying that you want pick up and we will be in touch to organise it for you!

Let us know if you have any other questions.

      • Hi Team,

I live in Gladesville which is 27km from your warehouse, will you deliver for free or it will still cost $30?

        Thank you very much.

  • Anyone got these chairs? How are they?

    • +1

      Hey,

We're currently working on a review system to validate and social proof our products.

In the meantime, feel free to message us on Facebook and we can provide customer feedback from the last couple months :)

      Best,
      The Ewin Racing Team

      • +8

Nothing personal … but I wouldn't trust any feedback handpicked by a business. Needs to be organic and neutral

    • +1

The reviews look good here: https://au.trustpilot.com/review/www.ewinracing.com

OP, any chance you are making a sit-stand desk? I like your Dek and chair combo deal as well.

      • Hey!

We will be expanding our range of tables with our next batch of products, don't you worry about that :)

Currently we only have the RGB Gaming Table available, however will probably sell out in the next couple of days.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • How much to deliver to the ACT?

    • $30

    • Hi,

It is $30 flat rate Australia-wide, unless you live in a very remote area whereby additional charges may be required.

      ACT will be $30!

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Can I ask what the difference in quality these chairs are to the officeworks gaming chairs. For e.g. $199 here

    • Hey!

While the construction seems similar, the level of adjustability and product range that is separated based on your body type is what separates us from your standard retail chair.

If you want to learn more about the product differentiation, you can find out on our Chair Selection Guide here

Let us know if you have any more questions!

    • Interesting. What is the level of adjustability that justifies it being over $100 more (not including shipping)?

I'm definitely interested but for a chair this expensive I want to be convinced.

      • The Enwin chairs are rated for heavier people up to 150kg or 180kg. The officeworks chairs - and most gaming chairs generally - max out at 120kgs.
In practical terms, even if you're not that heavy. the Enwin chairs appear more robust & durable while the Officeworks chairs carry a 'not suitable for commercial use' warning. Translation: sitting down heavily & long periods (>3hrs) seated in the chair will wear it out quickly.

        Enwin's warranty is 5yrs. Officeworks gets 3.

I definitely want one but my cats will destroy it like they destroy all my leather & PU leather furniture :(
Need get one with carpet attached to the exposed back & sides

  • 1 year warranty and parts only?

    • +3

      Hey!

This has just been updated to 5-Years!

Let us know if you have any other questions.

  • Interested but hard to know how comfortable they are without trying them out. What is your returns policy?

    • Hey!

Unfortunately once the item is opened and the chair is assembled, we do not accept returns for the item as it is no longer in a used condition.

The best validator of our products will be reviews that you can find all over YouTube and the internet. Otherwise you can message us on Facebook and we can provide feedback from customers over the past couple months.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

      • Is this good for a general home office chair? Not sure of the difference between gaming chairs and regular chairs (besides the colours)

      • I just received my flash fla xl today and wow what a huge difference over my Officeworks bathurst chair , the build is exceptional , i can see myself having this one for the next 5 to 10 years.

  • I'm 195cm and usually have issues with chairs back support being too short. Are there different sizes for these chairs?

    • Hey!

Yes, the seat range differentiates based on size, and we have a lot of customers who are of taller heights.

You can view our Chair Selection Guide here.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • Hey OP, can we get a bigger picture of the dimension images please?

    • Hey!

If you click on the image itself it should expand and be zoomable :)

Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • Poops, no black

    • Restock will be coming soon, will post up again when this occurs!

      • Can you let me know how soon ?

        • A restock is in place, however we hesitate to give you a timeline for this due to the current situation regarding international shipments and COVID-19, at this stage we're looking at a very conservative timeframe between 4-8 weeks!

  • Do you have any in black and white? I found this on your ebay but I cant see it on your website, please let me know and I will buy!

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EWIN-COMPUTER-GAMING-SEAT-CHAIR-…

    • Hey!

Our website is the best indicator for stock, if it's not available you won't be able to find it or select it.

The last couple weeks have led to significant demand, which means eBay listings unfortunately have been ignored…

      Restock is coming soon!

  • So can you guarantee in writing that your pu leather is going to stand strong for 5 years? The only chair I had so far that was able to be ok for so long is the one from IKEA, others a starting to fade and look awfull in less than a year.

    • Hey!

That's a very subjective question due to the nature of usage, and also the environment that your seat is located.

Nonetheless, yes we do stand by the confidence of our materials, and their durability to last 5 years.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • As a personal shopper I bought the racing chair from gamesmen $170 and within a year it’s absolutely rubbish. The cushion is harder than a concrete floor, cheap crap.
Then I bought two chairs from these guys which cost an extra $100 and what a big difference.
I got the blue and red version of these https://ewinracing.com.au/collections/calling/products/copy-…
Maybe my mind playing tricks, both chairs are good but the red chair had a better feel. The lumber support was more comfortable on the red chair. It could be QC (quality control) on the blue chair but I got no issues as kids use them.
I own an office works chair that I use.

    • Hey!

Appreciate your insight and feedback :)

  • +1

Any chance of the CHAMPION SERIES - CPF (black) coming back into stock for this sale? My only reservations from ever buying any of these gaming chairs are the stupid colours.

    • Restock is coming soon!

Will have an update on OzBargain when this happens :)

  • What is the difference in between HRE and HRC?

    • Hey!

The letters denote the different colour blockings, Hero series is the same construction throughout.

i.e. HRC and HRE are the same seat (Hero), but are stitched differently for colours.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • Took the plunge and bought, don't really care about colour as I need support for my back right now. OP, I ordered it last, any idea when I can get it here in St. Leonards?

    • It’s a great investment. Also with two kids. It’s great using afterpay.

    • Congratulations, and we appreciate your support for us.

If you are in St. Leonards, and you selected the Free Shipping option you should have it by end of the week. We're under the pump currently, so please give us a little patience to get it to you :)

  • I bought the FLASH chair in the cute pink color (it was either this or the Knight that had pink in stock)… waiting to see how this feels and maybe buy one for my boyfriend too.

Just curious - what does the 5 year warranty entail?

    • Congratulations!

5-Year Warranty entails everything that can be replaced, all you need to do is submit a warranty form which is on the website and we will review it :)

More than likely though, you won't need to do that!

Excited to learn your thoughts on the chair!

      • I got mine today - shipping took two days in Melbourne but boyfriend is struggling to put it together.

I called and I was told someone would call us back but no one did, fortunately their social media team are pretty quick but they've sent off photos to "production" (?) so waiting for a response.

        • Have you gotten a response?

I just got mine yesterday and also struggled to put mine together cause of the hinge that attaches to the back piece not moving even with the lever pulled.

I emailed them with a video showing it as well and worried about the response time since I have thrown out my old chair.

          • @expiired: I'm having the same issue with my Flash model. The hinge is totally stuck and won't move even when the level is pulled, did you get a response or find a fix?

          • @expiired: Ok, I seem to have figured out what's wrong, it's clear that the back is too large for the base and it does not fit together. Looks like they packaged up the seat from the smaller Calling model, together with the back of a larger Flash model. Very frustrating and not something I expected - they should at least get the components right.

Trying to reach out to @ewinracingau to send out another one. Hoping this is not the start of some drama…

  • Quick update, got my chair in Thursday. Some of it we already pre assembled so I could skip a few steps in the manual. It is actually a bit hard, but better for the back, I'm liking it. I got the champion because I wanted 4d arm rest movement, the arm rest have a good support as well. For $280, so far, worth it.

  • +1

Any chance of PayPal being an option on the website? Got funds sitting in there that I don’t want to wait to transfer out.

    • No response or reply to messages. Ended up buying elsewhere…

  • Just ordered one to Melbourne. Any idea how long it would take to ship?

    • Never mind. Just got notified saying they shipped it. :D

  • Waiting patiently for the Champion in black to be back in stock

    • +1

Will be back in stock in around 4-6 weeks dependent on how COVID-19 progresses!

      • Thanks for that. On another note, can i get a bigger photo of the dimension? I'm particularly interested in the height from the ground to the bum rest. The photos in your website are way too small for me to even read those dimensions

  • For the people who have bought it, what do people think about the lumbar support?
    1) Do you use the lumbar pillow? Is it actually required for lumbar support? I.e. is the chair comfortable without it?
    2) Does the lumbar pillow stay in place when adjusted?
    3) Do you find the two straps irritating? They look like they stick out and will chafe you when sitting down!

Also, question for the OP, I could not see much difference between the Hero and Flash (non XL) versions, except the seat is 1cm thicker for the Flash and it has more of a bucket seat, am I correct? They both do <180kg and their dimensions are almost the same.

    • +1

I bought 2 for myself and wife - used it for about a week and a half. I got these chairs as i wa starting to get back pain from my sitting posture from the office chairs i picked off the curbside. My early impressions:
1.) Wife uses lumbar pillow and suits her just fine. I can't use it as I can't seem to find a sweetspot - it gives me back pain wherever its placed due to how solid it feels. Wife has absolutely no complaints about it. I prefer it a lot more without the lumbar support but it does mess with my posture a little.

2.) The lumbar pillow does stay in place when I used it. The neck pillow however does not and is really irritating it keeps sliding down to the lowest 'setting' which offers almost no support (I'm about 174ish cm). Wish it could be locked in place - again, wife has no complaints.

3.) So far the straps do not bother me nor can I fell them - have not tried sitting topless on it yet due to colder weather.

Few other things that annoyed me:
      - Thought I could get used to the bucket seat style but it felt really constrained as i like to spread my legs a little wider than what's permissible by the chair
      - No way to tilt the base cushion forward as its currently facing upwards a little - slight discomfort for me and I had to find something to rest my feet on due to the angle

Overall its much better than my previous chair and quite worth-it with the discount. At this price point I can only complain about the minor annoyances. I might buy a softer lumbar pillow but if you like something relatively solid, this will suit you.

      • Hi kagenn, awesome review and feedback, thank you for taking the time to write your message, this is exactly the type of information I was looking for! Just a few questions if you don't mind (which hopefully might help others too):

        1) May I ask which model you purchased? Since I am 181cm, I would fit into all 3 Champion, Hero and Flash, so I was looking to maybe go for the Champion as it is the cheapest.

        2) I guess following on from which model you purchased, could you lower the chair a bit more to allow your feet to touch the ground? Or was the seat base cushion angled upwards so much that you couldn't or it just wouldn't work with your desk set up if you lowered it that much? (Because I can see why that would be annoying.) I also like to spread my legs out and stretch them under the table, so wondering if it affected you a lot and if it got really annoying after a while?

        3) I am working from home during this Covid phase and my back is killing me in my dinning room chair. So wondering when you sit in it without lumbar support, do you feel like your back is curved like a "C" into the chair? (i.e. if you sink into the chair.) Is the chair comfortable after sitting in it for a full day without the lumbar support? And does your back feel okay after sitting for a long duration without lumbar support?

I am tossing up between getting the Champion model, a Secretlab Titan or Omega or just an IKEA JÄRVFJÄLLET. This is definitely cheaper than the Secretlab though.

        • +1

          Happy to share my thoughts!

1.) I bought the Champion for the extra customisation - I believe 181 would be alright in terms of height, but depending on your butt/thighs it might be a little cramped unless you're quite skinny. I checked the width comparison for the chairs and I think they're about the same, except for the XL version.

2.) You can lower the seat to allow your feet to touch the ground, but my cheapo table i non adjustable and it's not a great mix - arms are slightly below keyboard level and I don't want to get RSI as I game a lot too after work.

2.b) Leg stretching is fine, but spreading to about 45' (roughly) does get a bit uncomfortable due to the bucket seat design. I can do this for the chairs in office but not with this chair. Depending on the pants I'm wearing it does get a bit uncomfortable at time as I feel squished. Can't speak for others though. I seem to only sit comfortable in a V, unfortunately - as such, yes, it annoys me a fair bit but not unbearable as long as I readjust my sitting position every now and then.

3.) Occasionally I drop into a "C" posture without the lumbar pillow and have substituted it with another softer pillow - still experimenting a bit with it. The chair is comfortable enough to sit in the whole day provided you re-adjust. My back pain has subsided a little with this chair. My shoulders are slightly wide and my body doesn't fit nicely into the shape but I do get sufficient support. With the handrest my arms/neck get sufficient support too but a bigger/more adjustable neck pillow would help more. Overall this is a 6.5/10 for me, but pretty decent for its price.

I was considering the Secretlab Titan but it's pretty exp and the next shipping date is pretty far away. If you have the same leg spreading preference I have, I won't recommend the chairs with the bucket design - unless you're in the zone you'll notice the mild discomfort constantly. I got this chair cuz it was in stock, reasonably priced, and I wanted something for my back ASAP. Otherwise I'll recommend an office mesh chair with lumbar support, handrest and ideally neck/head support for roughly the same price - IKEA stuff are mostly out of stock when I ordered this chair. Good luck with your hunt.

          • +1

@kagenn: Thanks kagenn for the further insights. I just checked and I won't be able to get a new IKEA chair until almost mid-May. I don't think I can get an Anda seat from Officeworks either :/ I am a little worried about the 6.5/10 rating you give for the comfort haha. I was hoping it would be closer to 8/10. But it sounds like your missus enjoys hers, so maybe it could work better for some people. I think I might have to roll the dice and get this one unless I get a Secret Lab. Cheers again for all the info! This does help me with deciding that the Champion is probably enough and I don't need the Hero or Flash. I'll mull over it a bit longer and decide soon whether to get this haha.

      • Hey man, thanks for sharing this great feedback, also on a hunt for a chair that is also in stock lol
I can see you have considered the secretlab titan and you have the same height as myself (174). Have you read much if it wouldn't be an issue? I can't find any review from people less than 180 that have enjoyed the titan.
I am willing to way around 4 weeks to get that one delivered if I could find a good review for short people, the Omega one is too far away.

I am even considering going for the Herman Miller Aeron just for being in stock lol

        • +1

          Heya Caiocezart,

I considered the Secret lab titan as it had a 'flatter' seat shape - still somewhat bucket type. Now that I have the current chair, I would not spend 600 bucks on a gaming chair unless I had the opportunity to test it for a week at least. My wife has no issues using it except removing the headrest. A cousin of mine who lives in Singapore has had this chair for about 2 years and he told me it's really comfortable. He's slightly shorter (below 170). I think these sort of chairs will be a hit or miss depending on the individual. I truly enjoy using the office mesh chairs and those provide somewhat better support for me.

With your budget I would look at the Ergohuman (v2) chairs or refurbished Aeron. That's my personal bias - I now every much prefer those office mesh chairs rather than gaming chairs due to the way I sit. If I were to buy another chair which I can't personally test out prior, I would prioritise customisability - which has better chances of meeting my requirements.
