  • Why does that monitor have the same design as the oled sony tvs from CES? o.o, or is it vice versa?
Anyways, okay dead I guess for a 3D monitor though u can get normal 27" monitors for <$400

    • This is 120hz - good for gamers, but not too noticeable if you only use it for desktop apps.

      • A lot of monitors nowadays are 120hz.

        • but they are not <$400

  • +2

that's like the ugliest tv design ever

    • Yuck!!

    • Really? I actually quite like it, but am somewhat apprehensive about whether you can change the viewing angle or not.

Also, anyone know how the 3D glasses work? I.e. could I use my Samsung IR 3d glasses with it?

Another good spec to mention too is the 3ms response time. Nice for a 27" :o

    • Looks like a sewing machine.

  • Seems to be the best price in the market atm http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?spos=1&q=T27A950

As much as I like this monitor it's still too expensive for a student like me :(

  • Hi Rep, a question for you:
Whats megaware policy for bright, dead spot for this monitor? thks

    • Hi,

As far as we are aware. Samsung policy is 0 dead/bright pixel within 3 years. Therefore our policy is the same with Samsung. Because all warranty for the item is directly to Samsung (they offer pick up warranty). Or you can bring it back to us, so that we can handle the warranty for you.

      • What about 7 day exchange for new or the likes (i.e. if it ships with a dead pixle you swap it for a new one)?

        • yes, within 7 days we replace with the new one. Because delivery time may vary. We give allowance for an extra 7 days. Therefore you just need to contact us within 14 days after you receive the despatch confirmation email.

  • Just be aware that its more or less useless as a 1080p/120hz/3D monitor for a PC as it has no displayport nor DVI.. HDMI only which will give you 1080p@60hz..

    • Agree, its quite poor design and spec for a 27'' display.

    • +1

It does 120hz over dual DVI:

Connector: DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D (Dual Link)

  • $1 cheaper at Mwave $539
