Havn't had time to look through yet, but what appeals straight away is the free delivery and the minimum of only a six pack. Well done, good luck.

    • Thanks Squirrel for taking th time post with your kind words. Cheers! RD :-)

  • I'd be interested in K1 Cabernet Sauvignon or Shiraz 2017 if that was on sale

    • Hi Bion. Sorry we just don't discount back on those small, batch premium brands but you could take a look at this post - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/529151 - there's a premium offer we put together because as a family we wanted to offer a little cheer to people in these unique times.Enjoy. Cheers! RD :-)

Understood. I saw your premium offer but it's not to my taste:)

        • No worries. Will be mixing that one up a bit, so please do feel free to share your ideas. Cheers! RD :-)

@bion83: Cool, leave it with me, I'll see what we can do over the next week or two. Cheers! RD :-)

I haven't tried these particular bottles, but upvote for offering half cases! (and at what look like really good prices)

    • Thanks Incipient. Been working on trying to do it for a while. A global pandemic is as good a time as any to try something new ;-) Cheers! RD

Ordered a bunch of times, always great service and tasty wines for anyone wondering.

    • Any suggestions which red to buy?

        Hi Stockastics.
I'd be keen for those that have bought to share some ideas with you, but for me:

Best Value - Virtual Mixed Pack - For those that might not know the wines, a discounted try before you buy option.
Personal favorite - BY:Geoff Hardy Adelaide Hills Cabernet Lagrein Teroldego 2016 - Serious wine, will cellar for a few years.
Great value drink now - GMH Red Meritage 2017 (Cabernet Blend)
Most popular wine - GMH Shiraz 2018

        Hope that helps.

        Cheers

        RD :-)

          Thank you for the suggestions!

Bought the Lagrein Teroldega and Meritage. Thank you sir!

          • @stockastics: Thanks Stock! Both are food wines too, the blend will age for a few years too - made for the top subscribers of our Canadian distributor - so you'll even get a letter with it! Cheers! RD :-)

        • GMH Red Meritage is shown in above description as 2017 but is the 2018 vintage on the website.
Is this vintage as good as 2017?

          • @sgsg: Hi sgsg. Yes, the 2017 has since sold out. The 2018 is just as good. very little vintage variation in wines at those kind of price points. You're aiming more for consistency from one vintage to the next stylistically. Of course, one year less bottle age but 2018 a bloody good drop. Cheers! RD :-) (Will also update the above list to reflect change of vintage - thank you for pointing it out)

Had a bunch of the shiraz and red blends in the past, as that's my preference, and never had a bad one.

      • +2

I bought a few cases 2 weeks ago, the Meritage was sensational for the price. The straight Lagrein and Cabernet Lagrein Teroldego were also very good. I would love to buy more, but I have run out of room. If there were a few cases of the K1 cab-sav , I would make some room, as it is very good, I have some 2010 put away.

Hi Davowade - kinds words, thank you for those and your support of our family's wines. It is much appreciated. Cheers! RD :-)

Thanks for the deals, always happy to see them pop up on OZB.

I grabbed the Virtual Mixed Pack for $99, but I got 10% off

Haven't tried any, wines look very premium tho!

Definitely best value, over $250+ and I mean legit value. Most these wines have silver, gold metals. I know alot of wholesalers always up-sell bottle $15rrp for $8 and then it's really horrible wine.

    • Thanks lyork - We see those deals too. These wines are export and domestic wines at wholesale prices. Some are close to running out (such as the Tempranillo, Nero D'Avola and a couple of others already gone) and others are just wines we have a few extra cases of and just making some wine in the shed for new bottlings. Thank you and enjoy. Cheers RD :-)

Haven't tried your Legrein and Tempranillo wines before. Grabbed a dozen of each.

    • Nice work Canebrradj - appreciate the support. Good wines. Knocked over a bottle of the Temp last night over dinner and the Lagrein will also cellar for a few years. Enjoy. Cheers! RD :-)

Just ordered 6 Pinot Noir. The 6 bottle option was the reason i ordered. I saw the offer the last week but seeing that it was 12 bottles i decided against it. Thanks for the offer

    • Thanks tomb11 - enjoy the Pinot - ripping value Pinot Noir. You'll enjoy, I know. Thank you. Cheers! RD :-)

I see a couple of reds with Italian varieties, I’m a fan of Chianti Classico. Which one would be most like that?

    • So, if it's a lighter, more savoury style you're after, like a good Chianti or Sangiovese, best tip would be the Tempranillo…. Enjoy. Cheers! RD :-)

      • Hi,Which of the cabernets, GMH SA Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 or Lakeside SA Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 has the biggest body? Also, would you recommend one over the other ? Thanks.

        • Howdy Hibbo! Personal preference would be the Lakeside 2018. 2019 GMH has a wicked colour and a great finish but I prefer something that's been in bottle a little longer. Both are excellent wines, excellent value. Hope you enjoy Cheers! RD :-)

@RD ADL: I,ve just received a dozen of the 2018 GMH cab sav. Sampled one and first impressions are good. How does the 2019 compare to the 2018? Thanks.

            • @hibbo: Ah thanks for that. Glad you enjoyed. With the Lakeside and GMH we try and stylistically create the same wine from vintage to vintage - so pretty much the same but a year younger, fresher. Hope that helps. Cheers! RD :-)

      • +1

Thanks. Grabbed a six pack of that as well as six of the Shiraz!

Thanks OP. Ordered a virtual mixed dozen. I've never liked a single white wine I've tasted but at least there's 9 reds and a sparkling I'll enjoy.

    • +1

Ha ha ha LaHug - save the whites for friends bbqs when we're all allowed to see each other again! Thanks for the support. It's much appreciated. Hope you enjoy. Cheers! RD :-)

I'd been looking around for a good dozen of reds as my last lot is almost gone.
Going to try out the virtual mixed dozen.
Thanks for the great deal - it appears to be great value!

Thanks Sphinxy for the support. Virtual Tasting Pack a good try before you buy option if you’re looking to test out the wines. Enjoy! Cheers RD
