Great to see The Who perform.

    • Roger Daltry and Pete Townsend sadly are both in isolation, as they are now in their 70s. Wow.

    • Still spewin' I didn't go to see them at the Grand Prix like 10 years ago.

Can't wait till they sing "Imagine" to make us all feel better!

      Imagine there's no virus
It's hard even if you try
      All hell before us
      Below us, only ply

      Imagine all the people
      Dyin' before today
      Ah

      Imagine there's healthy economies
      It's really hard to do
Nothing to do or hope for
      And only isolation, too

      Imagine all the people
      Livin' life outdoors
      You

You may say I'm a spreader
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

      Imagine no protection
      I wonder if you can
No need for alcohol rub or face masks
      A re-population of man
      Imagine all the people
      Sharing all the world
      You

You may say I'm a spreader
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

  • a bunch of irrelevant untalented deviants desperate for attention, performing an event hosted by the organisation highly responsible for this virus spreading across the world and killing tens of thousands..

you could not make this stuff up.

I don't know what world these people live in..

    • Alanis Morissette isn’t untalented

      • +6

        That's ironic…or is it?

        • Like rain on your wedding day.

          • @rodericb: That's only ironic if one of the people involved in deciding the wedding date is a meteorologist and had forecast no rain for that day.

    • WTF, "deviants"? Are you a religious school teacher? Being a deviant is a prerequisite for many artists.

      • Sorry bad wording.
        What word should I use.
It was not a religious reference.
I meant how Hollywood/Music Biz/Entertainment Biz etc know all about the sexual exploitation of others (eg. Harvey Weinstein, Corey Feldman, Kevin Spacey etc) but stay quiet because for them, getting their next gig / movie part / music deal is more important than morals

Hmmm, maybe "careerists". I didn't know Corey Feldman was in the news recently, not that I normally follow his career, but just something I missed.

Thats an impressive level of ignorance.

    • -1

Thanks for the lol, have a pos.

    • You're in a position to critique the talent of john legend, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder?

Ok… the Covid-19 shutdown effect on our head is worse than I suspected.

  • "hosted by the organisation highly responsible for this virus spreading across the world"

the WHO made infected people go on cruises?

    • Yeah I actually +ved the comment based on these artists mostly having zero street cred, then when I read they think the WHO is at fault.. Don't know how they came to that conclusion.

Removed the + but ozb stops me giving them a - now

      • Actually WHO Is largely to blame for being a corrupt organisation towing the CCP line that there is no problems, its business as usual and countries that were quick to stop flighs from China aka Australia, were acting rashly and irresponsibly. I still think the CCP government is more to blame but WHO played its part in what we now have around the world.

        • whilst not perfect, I think people are being far to harsh on the WHO. Only recently 'many' were saying the WHO was far too close to the USA. Now a different scapegoat is required, views have shifted.

Found this 2-hour "Main Show" version, very likely a re-stream of Singapore TV. No idea if the video will be removed for copyright reason but the poster is the Singaporean public broadcaster.

The full show (above link) is a touch over 8 hours long.
