How slow does a normal charger charge a Five year old crap top?

  • Price history, https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B07VTT6WC8

Seems to be the lowest price its been.

  • These are great

  • does this come with Au plug?

    • Apparently yes, according to the q&a in the item description.

Not enough USB C ports to be futureproof.

    • That's what I'm looking for also. Do you know of any you can recommend?

      • +1

Not really, I've had a trawl through eBay and Amazon but can only seem to find ones with 2 USB C ports for $120+.

I'd prefer 3 USB C and 1 USB A for backwards comparability. Not the other way around.

      • I just bought one of these. Seems good value for the price and has 2 USB C ports.

  • Only 45w USB PD? Most laptops want 60w. I'd pay a little more and get a 60w one.

      Do they exist?

  • +2

This is old school. Chargers from last year would have a 60W USB PD and 4x QC3.0 fast charge ports. And this was the crappy Shintaro brand from HT (good charger though!)

  • 4 usb A ports (5v/2.4a) so if I use 3 ports, it is already taking 36W, so that means I can't use the other usb A port and usb C pd rite? I mean I can't use all ports at the same time as max only 45W.

    • +1

It's 60W (the PD only deliver 45W). It means you can use 4 USBA at full power or PD+ one USBa.

      • +1

Or you can use all 5 and PD will output 45 and rest will have 15W shared.

      USB PD Output 20V=1.5A
      Junk.
      Don't waste your time.

  • Thank you got it.
