    When I went to cancel immediately after subscribing the message indicated I'd lose my two credits - not sure if the same happens with the $10.

    Any audiobooks purchased with the credits will remain in your library even after you've cancelled your subscription (I've still got three audiobooks from last year's promotion in my library).

      This is always true with credits and a bit of a pain, the most they'll let you do is pause it for 3 months out of 12.

      The $10 will likely stay but the price of buying audiobooks without a subscription skyrockets. Sometimes the "non-member" price can be $40 for an average book.

      If you still have three credits from last year, then does it mean this deal is actually available to new and existing Audible members? Or did you sign up under different accounts?

    Thanks I've been looking for a new Audible deal.

    I've used my Audible trial up in Australia already but was able to get it going on the US Audible store which still recognises my Australian Prime membership.

        Signed in to Amazon US, went to Audible. It will take you to Audible AU but there's a link saying "Use US Audbile instead" or similar. I got the 2 free books but no $10 credit btw.

      From what I understand.. No harm in trying unless u have unused credits or on a really good deal. (u keep any books that are in your account) they may have some sort of gap where you need not to have a membership. But if it doesnt work, they often will send you deals to come back as a member.

        There was no sign on amazon but if you go into audible.com.au it shows a "$10 coupon balance" at the top right of the page. Just used mine.

      You can still download any podcast you've added to your library after your trial expires. Just make sure to add them before you cancel.

            Just realised - I was referring to when browsing the site - not in my library. I might not have been clear.

        From memory, it was: https://www.audible.com.au/pd/Lying-Audiobook/B00FK6IRU4 , then "add to basket" (grey button underneath the "—- or —-"), then went through the checkout, and it applied the $10 voucher against the $9.68 price, thus making it free.
