  • Has more than 65% wholegrain and 30 percent less fat than regular potato chips<

Less fat… So more carbs? 😉

    • Well less mass of oil would imply more mass of carbohydrate I guess haha. The idea of the "wholegrain" is they're "healthier" cabs, which is technically true. Ultimately chips are always bad for you, but i guess "less bad" here? I personally really like grain waves haha.

They were 210g 2 months ago. Major shrinkage.

    • Though to be fair the price was also higher too i.e. 50% price was about 2.05 as I recall.

So this seems more a health change with a price increase rather than just a massive price increase.

  • what is the buy limit on these?

  • Feel like they've been on sale for many weeks

Have anyone noticed a difference in the taste/texture of Grain Waves chips? I swear they taste a bit different compared to a few years ago. Did they change the recipe? Coz I like the old taste better.

  • Same RRP but smaller package gone from 210g to 170g I still have a 210g pack. RRP must mean really ripoff people.

  • When GrainWaves first came out, there was an "original" or "natural" flavoured variety, as well as the various flavoured ones. (I guess it was basically just grains+salt flavour).
When Woolies or Coles had sales on the large packs, this flavour would sell out quickly.
Then, about 3 or 4 years ago, this flavour just disappeared.
I rang the company once to ask why, but didn't get a reply.
    I haven't bought GrainWaves since.

    Anyone else miss this flavour?
