They used to use machine to make the ice cream more harder but few years ago they stop doing it.
I used to work at maccas 20 years ago. The machine was just like a mixer (upside down blender), the McFlurry spoon (which used to be a lot longer) attached to the spindle of the mixer and clipped into place, then the machine was turned on and it spun around for about 30 seconds. Made a hell of a mess sometimes and was quite fiddly… but at least it mixed the topping through hence earning the name "McFlurry" ….now it is just a sundae with dry topping.
And then everyone clapped.
Wonder if the soft serve machine is broken?

Broken, being cleaned, the machine was abducted by aliens. Same result for the customers - no ice cream or shakes.

Packet of Oreo's $1. Tub of 2L vanilla ice cream $2.
Crush the oreos in the packet, let the ice cream melt a bit, mix in oreos and it's a pretty damn good substitute.

Can you get cream egg mcflurry's with this offer, I don't know if my local store still sells them now.
My local stores local price is $5, Jeez maccas is getting expensive.
I picked up some creme egg mcflurrys today, told the kids we would be getting povvo soft serve cones and then ordered the creme egg mcflurrys. The roar in the car was deafening … Dad of the year!

I don't know if I'm just being a conspiracy theorist but it feels like every time they run this $2 McFlurry promo I get a McFlurry that's literally less than you'd get in a soft serve cone. Are staff instructed to serve less during these promos?
Once I had to go back in and ask for more because they'd given me barely one swirl of soft serve in the cup. Felt like a tightarse, but it's something I notice no matter where I go when this promo's on.
