    Meh, prefer Pine O Clean. Mum used that on cuts and abrasions when I was a kid too. I dont know anymore, but it used to be Pine O Clean was hospital grade, while Dettol was household grade. And POC much cheaper for a bigger bottle.

      Not sure if you can get stock though.

      I got one so I can add it to my bucket when mopping the floor.

      Been trying for a few weeks at supermarkets but always out of stock of everything.

      sometimes in these situations saving a few dollars is not as important as preventing the spread of the virus.

        I think I was responding more to the copy paste blurb than anything else. Id say wont be long before a lot of this stuff is back on shelves. Not that it hasnt taken too long already.

      I always hesitate myself everytime want to buy Pine O Clean to use to dilute it with clothing when washing.

      Pine O Clean didnt mentioned this kind of usage on its product, while Dettol mentioned it on the product, and hence make me buy dettol most the time.

      Anyone have use Pine O Clean for the clothing washing here? any comment?

        Theres a specific pine o clean for that purpose too but I bet its a premium price being laundry specific. Id probably use nappysan or canestan though.

      Too early to tell as there havn't been enough studies to say this works on this coronavirus (Sars-Cov-2).
      Here's one study suggesting chloroxylenol (Dettol) can kill Sars-Cov-2. But its not peer reviewed afaik.

        Dettol says no:

        For external use only. Do not use undiluted liquid. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed seek medical advice. Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals. Do not use on high gloss acrylic surfaces.

        Just make sure you keep if off those high gloss acrylic surfaces and you should be fine.
