  • incredibly excellent images at night.

    really?
same sensor as the RLC-420 I'm currently setting up, and I wouldnt call its night vision 'excellent' compared to decent night vision capable cameras (but they arent ~$50)

    • Yeah, these are hardly market leaders with regards to night vision. Having said that, for this money, I don't think you'd find anything offering a better balance of quality, price and features.

I do prefer turrets over these mini bullets though.

      • Hikvision would dump on these from a height but they aint this price and they send stuff back to President Xi…

        • Yep, I bought a RLC-410 to compare to my Hikvisions. It actually did okay on nightvision, especially at a fraction of the price. It was poor in the daytime though, as it doesn't have WDR, so scenes with high contrast lighting were really blown out on the Reolink.

        • If you want cheaper, go for CN models and use google translate and block camera internet access and place them on separated LAN/VLANs.

Or reolink but personally still have them on Vlans and no internet access apart integration into Home assistant/Shinobi.

I also found Hikvision day time still a bit stronger compare to reolinks if scene has alot of different lighting levels.

  • Please clarify the model on your title whether it is RLC-410 or RLC-410W (with the W is stand for wifi I guess)?

    • Edited as it’s the wired version

  • What soft to use with these?

    • Reolink has their own. It’s listed in Blue Iris, maybe others too.

      • BlueIris looks promising, I managed to hook my old WansCam clones into it, I will probably buy it, although it is not cheap.

If you want something simple, if you have a spare Rasp Pi, works with motionEyeOS.

  • RLC520 turret / dome cameras are the same price, but no stock in Australia, so shipping will be slower as it'll be coming from China.

    • 5 back in stock.

  • Does this support onvif or rtsp?

    • +1

      Supports both : )

    • +1

Yeah, definitely should rtsp. I've got my 4MP version integrated to home assistant.

  • I'll wait for a complete system deal: Reolink 4K 8MP PoE Security Camera System RLK8-800B4

  • +1

Reolink is unbeatable for the price. Have a couple of these and am very satisfied.

  • Note that the price is ex-tax.
Ordering 2 brings the price to USD80.41
    Any coupons?

  • I'm a little confused, is this deal for China warehouse?

  • +1

The 5MP POE camera from this post is currently on Amazon.com.au for AUD$64.59, sold by ReolinkAU and fulfilled by Amazon. I'd think you're better off buying from there in terms of support.
