      Do you miss the powerload head? It’s the reason I bought the trimmer and love it. Every time the last bit of line comes out I can’t help but be a little excited to go and refill the line. With my previous trimmer I would be ready to throw it in the bin and call a mower man when it ran out of line.

      I got the multi head with pole saw kit from Blackwoods after seeing this deal. Looks like a few Ego things are on sale. Got the Chainsaw kit too. Replacing Ryobi stuff in both cases. Very happy with my current Ego gear.

      Now to go buy and grow hedges so I’ve got a reason to buy the hedging attachment….

  What a terrible website and shopping cart system. First you have to register to see the price, fine. But I went through postal address and credit card details, clicked on place order to only be warned that it was out of stock for my postcode. What a waste of time. The least it could do was tell me when I added my postal address, gah!

  This one probably needs to be removed.

  I have spoken to my local Blackwoods and they confirmed there is no stock at my local store and the item is has been marked as NLA (No Longer Available) with the supplier.

  There is 1 left in stock in one of there SA branches which is why it is still showing as for sale on the website.

    Blackwoods are finishing their distributor arrangement with EGO in Australia which is why they are selling stock below cost price.

      But only some SKUs are discounted?

      My Chainsaw and Pole Saw kits arrived today! Can't see much use in the multi-tool because I've already got a separate line trimmer, I just really wanted the pole saw to replace a Ryobi. Maybe the edger at a future date.

  I ordered this on Monday 27 April over the phone.

  The person I spoke with said they had stock in South Australia which he managed to secure and delivered today in Melbourne.

  He also said there is plenty of stock available and could be ordered still.

  I did have to pay $12.75 for delivery though. Still a bargain at that price!

  Call them up and see what they say if you're keen on it.
