Covid19 came around just when I was due for a haircut so I missed the window to go to my hairdresser. Now my Asian hair is getting rather long which I don't mind but my partner says I look like a microphone after I shower as it gets very rounded and bushy.     I was intrigued by the 5000, where is the value in the 7000 above the 5000? Need to cut mine and 1yo babies hair, reckon the 5000 would do the job just the same?

  I learned that Vs Sassoon over here, is BaByliss in the USA (P&G group).

  I'm not surprised that apparently they're good, there's tens of youtube 'fade barbers' in fancy shops, who are buying the babyliss over their usual salon rated Whal and such because the power is just so much greater.

  Mine is on the way, along with a #12 comb, so we'll see how I look with a 12 all over.

    Just an FYI for anyone on google.

    The VS Sassoon Super Clip XTP (which is a BaByliss in the USA) does take the WHAL combs, they're loose, but they do clip on and stay on.

        The shaver shop description says 5 years even though the box says 2. Thought it might have been a typo.

        My warranty expiry date listed after registering it is 2025
