Threefold Aromatic Gin

The team at Threefold have spent 12 long and exciting months distilling, tasting and testing our 1st gin release. We’ve meticulously crafted our Aromatic Gin recipe and after much refinement, have selected 11 botanicals that create a gin far greater than the sum of its parts.

Gin Tasting Notes:

A delicate piney freshness accompanied by a citrusy bouquet of grapefruit, orange and lemon. Hint of floral notes courtesy of lavender and a savoury flavour from an abundance of garden fresh rosemary. A touch of native wattleseed for a rich mouthfeel and both pepperberry and pink pepper to provide a well rounded and aromatic gin.

    gin + sanitiser…
throw in a toilet roll and its the essential iso trifecta

We’re hiring for the marketing team if you’re keen 😁🙌

      • Whats the alcohol % of the gin and the sanitizer?

If gin too weak a shot of sanitizer to boost?

        • The sanitiser is for domestic use and bottles at 68%. We can supply 80% hospital grade for hospitals, clinics and healthcare workers too.

          Definitely not for drinking! 🤣

    What’s the bargain?

    • +6

$20 of extra value and a damn tasty gin.

should make the sanitiser spray smell like the gin

    • It does have a gin-like smell to it.. but given that it is high proof distillate, it has stripped out a lot of the gin oils.

    Don't get them mixed up!

That’s why we made sure we used a pharmacy style bottle rather than our gin bottle 👌

Why is it that many local and not excluding international distillery not opt for 700ml volume?

    Why 500ml - it's short changing consumers…

    • +1

We have priced it accordingly.. so if we did release it as a 700ml bottle it would still be the same price per millilitre ie. $85-$90. We are a small craft producer and will never compete with large producers (and we don’t want to).

If I was to swill Gin I might buy some mainstream stuff in a 700ml or whatever bottle, but when I want to savour a more specialised Gin I might buy this and be happy its priced by the ml, and in smaller bottles. In theory, Ive never drank this stuff.

That and all spirits in standard sized bottles used to be 750ml anyway, so they all jibbed us 50ml.

    • +1

I think it's similar to craft brewers going with the 16 pack "carton"/cube. Price per ml or L is the same but makes it more affordable for those that don't drink litres per week.

      • Exactly! Our price is the same/similar (or sometimes less) to that of a 700ml bottle from other craft distilleries (if calculating by the ml).

That's a good example too - some craft beers are $100 a carton but if they sell 16 packs they can offer a carton for $66 so that customers aren't forced into buying a few singles at $6-$10 each.

  • So I'm assuming the tax part is on alcohol percentage also but when it comes to comparing a commercial outlet there is not much room for profit…

So do you have sample bottles in 150ml+ that we can buy too? Sorry just that majority 50ml-100ml doesn't cut it even though your profit margin is higher based on volume sales.. Minus other related costs
