@emoticon: Or just a greedy trash human who only thinks of themselves

                • @BiG BoY: Also very possible!

                • @BiG BoY: or it could just be a joke…

jeez my local woolies now has a literal wall of toilet paper. There is no shortage.

      • -6

Actually it was a prank :D I only got 1 but curious how many people have the greedy thinking of grabbing more than 1 :)

        • +1

          lol… nice try covering up…

  • +1

    Just bought one

  • Still in stock as of 1 minute ago! Thanks OP!

  • +2

Thanks for the heads up that they're back in stock. Grabbed one. We're actually running low on paper so this will keep us out of the shit!

    • I was too slow the last time this deal was posted, not this time ;)

      • +1

Every time I've seen toilet paper deals posted by the time I click through to Amazon they're already gone. They were gone this time as well but thought I'd check the comments and people were saying the deal is back. Lucky!

  • +2

Got one, thank you op! Should be about 3 years supply the way we've been rationing

  • +1

Back in stock. Just got one

  • +1

    Thanks, got one!

  • +1

    Thanks OP, picked one up.

  • +2

Yayyy, finally got in before it was sold out, thanks OP!

  • +1

Got one just then thanks !

  • +1

    still working.

  • +1

    Cheers OP.

  • +3

Yes toilet paper is more available in some shopping centres, but not at all venues, and some only have four or eight packs. Lining up at the shopping centre to get in, and to then check out and to bag my groceries takes a lot longer than before so home delivery is very convenient.

  • +2

Thanks, have not need TP for quite a long time where I am in Sydney. I'm not a member of Amazon Prime, so added a $105 headphones to get free shipping. FML.

  • +1

    Thanks OP :) hehe

  • +15

I think now people are not running out of TP anymore. They are running out of… money

    • +2

That’s because the idiots spent half their salary on toilet paper for a month straight.

  • +6
    • What’s better for the bum?

    • does all sellers now have limit of 1 per customer?

      • I think Amazon chooses the items

        • oh right.. do you know if the limit is placed forever or one per person per stock? so like if it comes back in stock next time, can i order another one?

  • +1

    got one finally

  • +1

while ive seen TP in stores now i havent seen any specials on them and havent seen anything bigger than 8 packs, so you're still stuck paying about $1 per roll. this is a significant saving. bought one - thanks OP!

    • It's not $1 for a roll at stores though.. bought 6 double-length rolls of Sorbent for around $4'ish if I remember correctly.. Probably not as cheap as this Amazon price though.

      • at the stores near me it is (around maribyrnong area) - e.g. plenty available at coles ascot vale and woollies highpoint but theyre only the 6-8 packs and theyre between $6 and $8 per pack. others may have better luck, i am sure.

  • its coming back now in stock at supermarkets was $16 before now $14 can see where this is going….

    • +2

      like oil prices?

      • maybe not to that extend I have seen petrol gone under 99 cents for long time

Takes a virus to do that

    • Soon Amazon will be charging -$14 for TP

  • +1

There was a while aisle from end to end and top to bottom of tp when I went to Woolies last. No one was touching them.

    • +3

Because they are $8 for a 9-pack which is a bloody ripoff

    • +4

Cos their overpriced. 8 rolls for 8.50$

      • +2

Which proves this was never a necessity issue. Just people hoarding because they could

  • +2

Thanks OP. Bought one. First time ever I was able to order one from Amazon. :)

    • practice makes perfect.

  • +6

There is more paper used in the huge box they send it in than the actual rolls. Pretty wasteful on amazons part.

    • +4

LOL you should see the 1 hand sanitiser we were able to buy. Huge satchel for 50ml of Dettol.

  • +2

$2 cheaper than Amazon's last offer that got delivered at my house today. We are now past Peak TP.

  • +7

I'm going to use this to clean my ass.

  • +1

I saw a pallet of Sorbent silky white 10 rolls pack for $7.50 (75c per roll) at Woolworths sold out within 2 minutes.

I'll never pay that price even I'm desperate!

  • +2

best 14 bux spent for your RsEnd

  • 21c per 100 sheets - Bargain! thanks OP.

    • Not that great a bargain considering 2-ply home brand is 12c and 3-ply is 17c I reckon.. but in current times, this saves a visit to the store.

  • -2

how is this not a duplicate

    • +2

      This is $2 cheaper.

  • We're sorry. This item has a limited purchase quantity. We have changed your purchase quantity to the maximum allowable.

    I have not ordered

  • oztoiletpaper

  • Funny thing is that people's bowel habits won't change, so we can only go through so much toilet paper as a nation. It just means that people at some point will stop buying it because they have hoarded it, and the rest of us can get on with our normal shopping.

    • +3

Maybe people using toilet at home more, so increased demand on consumer tp supplies (as opposed to commercial bulk supplies).

      • haha i knew someone was going to say that when i wrote it. Overall the supply of TP hasn't gone down and the use of said product for toilet purposes hasn't gone up. I bet the consumer TP companies are also manufacturing much of the commercial stuff too, in which case it's probably just directing all resources to focus on consumer product for the time being.

  • Full aisles in Yarraville Coles the other day, late in the afternoon. Pasta is still a little scarce and no hand sanitiser, but TP was no problem.

  • I think there is still an idiot in North Brisbane trying to sell their stash for $10 per pack of 4 rolls.

  • Not a bad price, still going on a 24 pack from Aldi that was $8, at the start of all the craziness..

  • Got one thanks, there’s been no TP in any Supermarkets Near me since this all kicked off…

  • Finally got one. On my last few sheet tonight. Hopefully deliver in time…

    • Tell us where you live, so we can avoid. The order says delivery in May 4th - thats 2 weeks of you reusing those few sheets - phew! 👃

      • +1

Mine said April 27. No matter, that is what the Aldi catalog is for, and you get new ones every Thursday.

        • Same, mine also says Arriving Monday.

    • well you wont get it by tonight!!

  • Good thing is if you set up subscribe and save, not only is it cheaper and free delivery but you would imagine that your next delivery is taken care of also.

Have set this up and received my first lot today.

Will leave the next one on as supplies in Adelaide are very scarce.

Did also use a 3% off Amazon discount egift card.

    • How do you set S&S for this one, I can't see any options?

    • my subscribe and save got delayed by 3 weeks during the stockpiling

    • Price won't necessarily be the same next time though.

  • It was the low info people that caused the toilet paper to sell out in the first place.

  • Finally plenty of stocks

  • +3

    OOS for me. :(

  • Wow SOLD OUT. I thought this was excess toilet paper amazon wanted to offload.

  • I have seen quite a lot of TP in shopping center around my house lately, guess other areas should've normal stock now or soon.

  • -2

Supermarkets have plenty of them, they just keep them in the WH pretend its lacking of stock

    • +3

Supermarkets are lacking special pricing on TP though.. last I checked they were pretty overpriced (or I must say only the expensive ones were in stock).

  • Dont know what the fuss is…. Who would have thought TP would be the centre of attention at any time..
    Humans…

  • +2

Far got ripped off at 16$ last time

    • you can rip those toilet papers now as revenge

  • My local Coles is fully stocked of all the stuff that was bought in the Panic except sanitiser. Strangely though things like frozen chips are the new must have for the discerning hoarder. Coles have been out of stock for a few days now and have placed a 2 pack limit.

  • Coles currently have this for the same price online (haven't checked in store). Obviously most people can't buy online at the moment, but for those that can, it's available.

  • +3

I don't know what people talking about, my nearby Coles and Woolworths always run of stock. Even when they restock they gone in an hour.

  • haven't seen TP, tissues, pasta, rice, hand wash of any kind, or fruit mince pies since this thing all kicked off !

    • +2

Pass the rest but how are you coping without fruit pies?

      • loads of fruitcakes, though

  • Yeah no need to do any panic buying anymore, TP in abundance everywhere 🙃

    • +1

Not in Adl, they put some (one brand) on the shelf that goes in 5 minutes. My local Drake does it even use the shelf anymore and Woolies filled it with water and coke

      • +3

not in Sydney either. still a rare comodity

  • Back in stock

  • +1

    Back in stock

    • I bought one pack about a week or two ago (it cost $16 when I bought it), when I try to purchase now it says “we’re sorry. This item has a limit purchase quantity” and it changes it to zero quantity.

Is this because I bought a pack two weeks ago? Or because it’s sold out when I try to buy?

      • I've just bought one from Amazon for the first time 2 mins ago.

      • +6

according to the amazon staff chat, restricted one per account per week (or two cant remember).
anyway try again next time. yes same item.

      • +2

I bought one on the 15th at 6pm, its allowed me to purchase another today so 1 week, didn’t work a few hours ago but now worked after 6pm

  • Stock is back now on Amazon.
Make an order who need it badly

  • Wow, I ordered this yesterday and it arrived today!
