"Whole Apple Range" = 4 products?

    • Agree that we should have more :( Apple refurb products always sell quickly, but we try our best to stock a good range. Thanks for the feedback.

  • Those are all you have got? 4 models?

    • Yup, sadly for now. Please see above comment. What in particular were you hoping to find on there?

      • Pro models with touchbar. Thx

    Don't like butterflies

    • Can you let us in on the joke? Maybe I'm missing some OzBargain insider joke here…

      • butterfly keyboard.

  • Give $200 off brand new items and post it then here

    • Rohit, these are a really good deal compared to the rest of the refurbished Apple market place. But we appreciate that all shoppers have their own views and make their own judgements on value. We welcome more detailed feedback if you want to give it. Thanks for taking a look either way.

  • Maybe it could be a deal to someone, but I wouldn't buy a laptop with 5gen/6gen CPU now. I'm now using 8250u and expecting to upgrade to the Ryzen 4800H.

    • An Apple with 8250u? Because Apple will never change to AMD.

      • Umm what about their video cards?

    • It's still a recent MBP body and the CPU/RAM is well sufficient for many use cases as you point out. Our mission is to give laptops the longest possible usable life to give people good value and also to keep equipment in the hands of people who will use it.

We're also glad that Apple keep producing new products with the latest and greatest CPUs for those users who do need that :) Thanks for commenting.

This seems like pretty poor value even compared to new Macs.
Just get the MacBook Air and be done with it, or 2018’s models second hand for cheap.

    • Remember our models come with a one year warranty, so it's quite different to buying second-hand privately. Also saving hundreds of dollars means a lot to many people for whom every dollar coming out of the family budget counts.

      Thanks for comment!

We are doing this deal for our new MacBook Pro Retina 13" Late 2016 model and the rest of our apple gear.

    A new 2016 model?

No information about the condition of these MacBooks, nor the extent to which they have been 'refurbished'

What exactly are you basing the $2199 RRP for the MacBook Pro on, rep?

    • Major oops there. The "new" meant "we've just received these in our warehouse", but it was totally the wrong word to use here. Sorry about that.

Whats involved with your Refurbished units?

As in what process do you do as Refurbished is a very vague term and sometimes nothing is even done and just a quick wipe over and thrown back into a box.

    • Agreed. Updated the post description. Please take a look.

Must have rocks in your head to spend $1300 on a second hand dual core CPU with 8gb of RAM. There's 8 core/16 thread CPU based laptops, coming out, that would leave this thing in the dust at a similar price point. Is the IGPU on this thing strong enough to even handle the Retina display? The only selling point would be Thunderbolt support.

Is this the Mac vs PC argument? We think it's a fun argument to have sometimes, but wouldn't call someone crazy for wanting to own a Mac :)

this is 2016 model with 2 core cpu
Better get the latest MacBook Air which has faster cpu (multi core)
Better keyboard , battery and lighter weight

    • The dual core CPU on this model is slow. Also people say the new MB Air CPU throttles a lot even though its fast, as the CPU heatsink is not connected to the fan.
