EBL AAA 1100 Mah Rechargeable Battery 16 Pack $26 @Amazon (+ $0 Prime/Spend $39 Shipped)
Found this to be cheapest per battery, among the EBL AAA (there are a few in amazon).

Edit:
20 pack for $34 - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00JB1CSX6
4 pack for $9 - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B011KYJ9MY
(OOS) 16 pack $26 - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00DNPT1A4

Seems AAA is out of stock now, hence it is showing up the AA ones at $46.

  • can this be charged by solar gadgets?

  • Price: $46.99

  • Marketing ????

  • So how do you get that price for aaa.

  • Showing 46.99 to me as well

  • Not a valid deal.

  • Found this to be cheapest per battery

This isn't really a desirable feature for batteries…

  • Works for me
Click AAA, then bottom right add to cart

I'm never buying this again. Bought a few packs of AA and AAA all showing some sort of issue either at first go or after one use. My nitecore charger shows error while charging these. Junk.

  • 20 Pack works out to be $1.7 vs $1.625 that this deal works out to be.

If anyone wants to enter the wonderful world of battery nerd you can watch this video Which AA Rechargeable Battery is Best after 1 Year? China's NiMH vs Japan's?
The EBL AA battery are tested, they don't rate too well. Performing poorly in self discharge, also their 2,800mAh rating was optimistic, reality was a bit under 2,400mAh.
In summary the EBL AA battery were average to poor quality, but not appalling!! BTW yes I know this post is for the AAA battery.

    • wanted a few branded AAAs quickly from within OZ.
Found these in amazon, ordered and shared for the community.

Yes EBL is not top of line, but its price wasnt too high too - so took the plunge.
      Will see how it goes.

    • Ahh ye ol' Chinese measurements at it again haha

  • Never heard of this brand
Prefer to get cheap rechargeable from ALDI

    • You should buy them from Coles, the homebrand AA rechargeables got top spot in the Choice review. The following is what I copied and pasted from the Choice Review, Coles Recharge+ AA RECOMMENDED, CHOICE Expert Rating 75 %, Endurance score 68%, Consistency score 74%, Self-discharge score 86% Value score 90%…
Panasonic Eneloop battery was the best performing battery but due to their price they came second overall.

      • Unless you have personal experience, the Choice test was 4 years ago. The Coles batteries don't even look the same now.

Aldi activ energy in AAA were junk even though they were on the choice recommended list. Much less than stated capacity.

        • Coles Recharge+ are the same batteries as 2016. The packet still displays that these batteries won the Choice awards.
I have owned over 20 of these batteries for several years, both AA and AAA never had any issues with them.
