Finally purchased it last night 🙌 overcooked 2 that is :)
If you're like me and my partner and wanted more from the game after finishing it, then yes.
It adds some new colourful levels with some new ingredients and recipes.If you're unsure, get 1 DLC pack and see how you go with it (they're usually on sale a lot).
The 'surf n turf' DLC is fun cause you get to make fruit smoothies on the beach.
Dammit i'm waiting on my Switch to arrive. Can't buy it on the eShop until then, and I defs want these games :(
I was in a similar position and got my friend to add my nintendo account to his switch. If you've already got your account made, you just need to share it with someone you genuinely trust. You can of course lock your account down with 2FA and make it so a password is required for everything to add that extra level of security.

I don't know if there's an easier way but when I'm looking fr a title on the web I do a Google search for "ec.nintendo.com" + the title. Seems to be pretty effective. Sometimes I get the result for a different country but it usually auto directs me back to the australian site after a few seconds.
If anyone knows how to access the search page of ec.nintendo.com on the web, I'd love to know.
If you've never played it before is it worth getting overcooked 2 or would the cheaper one be ok?

Overcooked 2 is essentially a better version of the first one in my opinion. If you play 1 then 2 you'll enjoy it better than if you play 2 and then go back to 1 as there's less mechanics for your character to do.
I find Overcooked 2 to be much easier than 1.
For 1, I was continuously searching for stars to get to the next level and the boss was insanely hard for coop mode.
Overcooked 2 (maybe from my overcooked 1 experience), I didn't need to search for stars till the very end.
However, there is definitely a lot more going on for Overcooked 2 (design and functionality wise) than simply walking around and handing things like Overcooked 1.
I started with 2 then 1.
enjoy no 2 more. especially the throwing.
