    Does anyone resell the Telstra network? I don't see the point of porting from an Optus carrier to another Optus carrier when you are having network related issues…

        Anyone have any confirmation that Lycamobile is on the telstra 2g network? The only telstra 2g reseller I could find was Just mobile. I'd be very interested to find out if anyone knows of a different 2g reseller..

          yep lycamobile is 2G Telstra and great reception if you live anywhere near the lake, not that I have had problems in Belco/Gung/Tuggers but found sound is crystal clear and better reception than Optus/Vodafail near lakeside

          Anyways, if anyone knows of any other telstra 2g resellers, i'd really appreciate it. or any way of getting a $29 telstra cap on a plan.

          yeh if it was that stressfull i would probably pay more for better quality. e.g i was planning on going to tpg with their new plans instead of live connected cause i was willing to pay $3 extra to get some better customer service, but now that theyve lowered their prices i might go live connected, but its is only for 3 months…

        However i have a drama, i purchased 1 item but because my account number was incorrectly submitted, i submitted the order again. (with the same number to be ported across) however someone must have fixed it your end and i ended up with 2 orders.
        I immediately logged a case about the duplication but somehow it did not get noticed. I now got 2 emails with sim card being shipped can you please help ?

          You seem to be under the impression that LC have phone based Customer support

          They do not have a phonenumber and hence do all CS via support tickets on their website

      Why not go Telstra prepaid. Their new plans are actually pretty good when you consider it's a far better network. Their $40 prepaid is comparable to the $79 Optus plan I was on. Is having near full 3G reception everywhere worth the extra $5 or so to you?

      And also the usage meter on their website tell you how much you use and there are apps you can download which tell you how much credit and 3G data you have used

      It's no contract you can cancel straight away.

      But $20 = 4x months worth of the plan anyway, no point doing that.

    Guys, I don't have a Telstra phone at the moment…

    However, I do remember signing up for the free crazy john's sim I saw on here a few weeks/months ago.

    Just wondering, can I activate my crazy johns $2 sim and then port it over to the LiveConnected plan?
    Anyone done this? I hope CJ's doesn't have a contract or anything lol.

    Hey guys. A recent porter from Optus post paid to Telstra pre-paid.

    If recharge $40 a month this gives me $550 of calls + unlimited calling/sms 6pm-midnight every night/any network.

    This is a really damn good plan when you think about it! Put it this way, I was on an Optus $79 plan '$550 worth of calls, unlimited sms/mms' (that I was getting for $69 - $10 loyalty bonus) and was regularly going over that cap (getting bills up to say $90-100. On Telstra prepaid I usually have credit that expires. The free calls make a big difference, and let's face it, if you're a 20-30 year old and have a social life you're up for at least $40 a month anyway you slice it.

    A wow - the reception is like night and day. 4/5 3G bars on my iPhone 4 in the remote areas where my family live and I was only getting 1/5 Optus 2G. It really is far superior.

      I've always been happy with Optus/Voda reception in my area so this is a bargain to me.

    This is a shitty company. I have disconnected my service after had so bad personal experiences.

    Customer Service is ignorant.

    They got condition in their contract. Your service can be cancelled any time by giving 30 days notice.

    Happened to lot of my friends for disputiong bill and didnt provide any reason.

    Beware, I believe you dont want that to happen with you.
