When you pour hot drinks into the mug it changes colour!
I think it makes a very special gift when you can actually customise it.
With a price under $20 bucks include shipping I think its really a bargain for me.

    That actually looks pretty cool. I was ready to dismiss it as junk when I read "Colour Changing Mugs", I was imagining flashing LED lights. LOL

    Do what I do - drink black tea and coffee and the cup or mug will change colour naturally; at least on the inside.

      Dont' wash it for long enough and you can get some pretty awesome shades of green and blue happening.

      I would buy some with rude pictures on them and leave the mugs at the kitchenette at work. Then watch the embarassment as some unsuspecting co-worker got their morning coffee.

    Oh lordy, other half got one as a freebie from a conference. He absolutely loves it (probably more than the kids), it reveals a galaxy. Although, I do think the novelty has warn off now.
