        • Thank you šŸ™

  • The Microsoft Azure subscription doesn't seem to show up in my existing account…

    • End up registering with a new email, and it works perfectly!

    • i had their email after signing up and then had to click on the link they provided to actually get it lol

  • +1

Works for me with existing email. Can see it under subscriptions.
Iā€™m also under corporate plan and whenever that expires Iā€™ll use this Azure offer instead.

    • +1

Where are you looking, to find mention of "subscriptions"? I can't find a mention of "subscriptions" for me, at all.

Edit: It's under account settings. Look across the top and you'll see a heading, "Subscriptions".

Mine said I was subscribed for Azure limited library until 2025.

  • Anyone knows where you could check the date in your account that it goes till 2025?

  • Thanks

  • This is awesome,thanks dealbot

  • Worked with a new email. Thanks!

  • +3

At the risk of sounding like an idiot what is the benefit of this? Anyway thanks signed up successfully.

    • +6

      Who cares? Free is free.

    • +2

Basically free Azure courses on a trial/free account without subscription!

    • +5

If you are in IT, then you can learn something that is in a high demand these days for free.

      • +2

Yup luckily I was looking at the Azure courses last week so this is a bonus for me!
Yeh if you are not working in IT, this freebie is pretty much pointless.

    • +4

You learn how to administer Microsoft Azure.

Azure is Microsofts cloud computing platform.

If it's anything like Amazon's AWS then Azure is hidiously complicated. So complicated in fact that people will pay you to manage their IT infrastructure on Azure rather than do it themselves.

Presumably this is better than renting a traditional VPS or dedicated server in some situations.

  • I activated a trial and activated the Azure offer , got an email that Azure offer has been activated but still under subscription shows trial expiring 2nd may 2020 , any idea?

    • +1

I think the trial is for plan subscription, different with the offer which only gives access to the limited library. You can still access to the library without any subscription so remember to cancel your subscription before that day.

      • Why do you need to cancel? They donā€™t have your credit card details right?

        • If you ā€˜upgradeā€™ your subscription, you will need your credit card.

  • Clicking on upgrade option but takes me to subscription page and asks for payment details. Is this how you get it or am I missing a step?

  • Thanks !

  • Thanks mate!

no love for O365 courses ((

    • actually what is meant by O365 migration ? migrating exchange accounts to outlook and install office 365 on PC ?

      • +1

Probably more than just exchange online, you get to play with other stuff like dynamics365, teams, sharepoint, etc.

        • thanks! :)

      • +1

Usually means migrating mailboxes and mail data from an on premise source (Exchange) to the cloud (O365)

      • +4

SharePoint 2013/16/19 to SharePoint Online is a big one. File Servers to SPO. AD to Azure AD sync. Office 365 identities are nothing without Azure AD. And as alo1234 said Exchange, CRM Dynamics. Even Infopath to Power Apps, … SP/.net workflows to PowerAutomate, .. Excel reports to Power BI. It goes on and on. If you master all that you will have a job for the next 10 years.

        • Thanks guys :)

  • Followed the registration link but ended up at a ā€œ You have reached the end of the Internet.
    There's nothing here.
Try searching to find what you're looking for.ā€ page and thought it was expired.

However got an email ā€œ Build your Microsoft Azure skills on us

Microsoft and Pluralsight, the technology learning platform, have partnered to give you access to a set of Azure courses for free. You now have unlimited access to these courses through Microsoft Azure and Pluralsight.com!ā€

Set my password and logged in and got my subscription thru 2025.

    Thank you OP for sharing.

  • Thank you OP… registered

If you're interested in what you could do with this head over to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/azure/

  • +2

    Thanks OP.

Can Azure learned from scratch using these courses? I have no previous knowledge in Azure, but really interested in learning and making some money with it.

    • +3

Yes you can. Start with AZ-900 and Azure Fundamentals on the MS Docs portal.

  • +1

Curious if each "role IQ " role gets access to different content or if it just some fancy marketing.
Like if someone picks Solution Architect or Developer do they get access to the Administrator content or it changes based on pick.

  • +2

Some of the courses are quite out of date. Take Az-301 for instance. It was supposed to expire now, but due to covid it's now June. To be replaced by AZ-304 but PluralSight does not have this course yet. Whilst it is still good to have this free resource, I would make the MS learning platform you primary source of learning: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-au/learn/?WT.mc_id=learningbanā€¦ . It is awesome actually.

  • Thanks DB

  • Thanks OP

  • One more thing, does this include exam vouchers too?

  • Thanks DB, champion!

  • Thanks maaaaaaaaate!

  • Just in time as April free month is almost over !

  • I've subbed, received the email and I can access the courses, but nothing appears under https://app.pluralsight.com/subscription?

    • same. doesnt show up on my subscription even after clicking the link sent to my email..

  • Thanks OP! This is amazing.
I have signed for 10 days trials but cannot find a way to cancel my subscription. Under the account "Subscription & Billing" tab all i can see is:
    Subscription
You have access to the following limited subscriptions:
Microsoft Azure (Limited Library) (expires April 29, 2025)
Click upgrade to subscribe to our full library.
    Upgrade now

    Can someone please help me?

  • What do they mean by Exams and Articles?

  • How long is a trial account valid for?

    • +1

10 days or 200 minutes according to Pluralsight.

  • +1

Subscription not showing up as well, no way of cancelling the trial. Sent email/ticket to the Support Team. No response yet though, not even an acknowledgement.

    We wait, watch and see.

  • -2

Sadly, this only give you 10 days of trial, not 5 years stated.
is there anything that I may have missed?

  • Thanks got it.

  • Worked for my new account, thank you for sharing : )

  • Too much free courses now
