coming from someone who didnt get the fly more kit when he got his DJI Spark then spent way more buying the balance charger, carry case and extra batteries separately.

I've had mine for a month or so, great fun. I have experienced one issue when the wind picked up and the drone was down-wind from me and it couldn't fight against it. Thankfully I could get it to descend to a low altitude and it was only about 100m from me horizontally, but I'm now more conscious to try and fly into any headwind first and then at least it should always be easy to return to home if it does it again!
An unfortunate symptom of it being so lightweight I suppose. Still, it is an incredible piece of tech, given the video quality and flight time it's capable of, especially for the money. Just wish they kept the frontal collision avoidance system from the Spark!
Any drone will have that problem. I nearly lost a mavic pro over a solar farm on a windy day. At full speed the wind was taking away in the opposite direction. The only way I got it back was to bring it back down low where it is less windy and slowly crept back home (1m above the panels).
The mini is awesome for the weight and price.
I had the same issue with my (well, works) Mavic pro. Had to land it in a car park over a kilometre away and drive to get it lol.
Damn bought yesterday for $509 and felt savvy as price matched with the dealer near me for quick pickup (Had free postage also)
