  • which one of the two tennis game is better?

They are both pretty average and don’t support motion controls. Waiting for a sale on Mario tennis.

    • Tennis world tour is a trainwreck, avoid. AO2 is apparently ok

  • Anyone actually played any of these games and can recommend?

With no analog buttons/triggers I wouldn’t bother with a racing game on the Switch.

      • That's true. Thanks for clarify this.

      • I think Vrally 4 is free for Xbox live gold owners this month. It didn’t review well.

      • Don't bother with the Switch Lite. Use the proper game controller and run the game through the TV. The Switch Controller Pro has buttons, left and right stick and triggers. And V-Rally 4 or WRC 8 for Switch only supports the Switch Controller Pro to begin with so you wouldn't be able to play it on the Switch Lite to begin with. It's the same as the Dualshock 4 or Xbox One controllers.

        • "you wouldn't be able to play it on the Switch Lite"

Hmmm got a source for that?

      • Never played any racing games before the PS3 era? All of GT up to GT5?

@OP WRC8 is miles better, V-Rally is made by the game company but is a little older and no way near as good apparently

Also those games definitely work on the switch lite. The pro controller has the same buttons and everything as the joycons. It doesn't have proper triggers like the PS4/Xbox controllers anyway

        • The pictures of the Switch Controller Pro that i've seen has it having proper triggers all four of them. So i don't know what you're talking about. It's obviously another game controller which you were thinking of. The Switch Controller Pro is just like the PS4/Xbox One controller. It's a proper full gamepad.

@hollykryten: It doesn't have analogue triggers, that's why it sucks for racing games. It's like a PS2 controller where the triggers are digital, either the trigger is fully pressed or not, no in-between. You can't precisely control throttle, you have to kinda tap the throttle like in the old Grand Turismo games

To get a full gamepad with analogue triggers you have to get a GameCube controller or a third party one like the SN30 pro+.

    • V rally and WRC have the same developer. Apparently V-Rally is more of a arcadey game vs WRC or Dirt?

Also tennis world tour was a trainwreck. Dunno about the switch version but the developers basically admitted to releasing a terrible only 20% complete game but promising the next one will be better

  • I didnt like Tennis World Tour on PS4

  • V-Rally 4 is currently free to play for Xbox Gold/Gamepass Ultimate subscribers.

  • Why is WRC 8 for Switch so expensive on the Nintendo Store. I mean it's currently $24.95 for PS4 on the Playstation store. You people with Switch consoles are getting taken for a ride.

    • Why is WRC 8 for Xbox so expensive on the Microsoft store. I mean it's currently on sale on the PS4. You people with <not my platform of choice> are getting taken for a ride.

      • Yeah i mean so expensive when on sale. Is $37.50 the best they can do on the Nintendo store. Heck the publisher can do $24.95 on the Playstation store.

  • The OP spelt Rally wrong. It's not Rallye.
