I have the version of this with the built in DVD player - and over USB it'll play most formats (tends to bork at HD 264 content though).

Great little tele for the kitchen/bedroom etc. Viewing angles aren't stellar (clearly a TN panel) but for the price it's fine.

    • Thanks - Another Q I had was that it talks about 12V.

Is that optional or will it only work with 240v with an adapter?

      • It has an external switch mode power supply - the connection to the TV itself is 12v.

    • "tends to bork" - does that mean that it starts playing the video of an obscure Scandinavian singer?

      Sorry, my bad.

      That would be Bjork. d:-)

      • Just to be pedantic - Bjork is Icelandic

The proper spelling of 'bork' is baulk meaning to hesitate or show reluctance

  • I've one and It's a great tele for the price!

  • It says full hd panel on the first page, but then when you read the specs its only 1366x768.

    • I doubt it matters too much for a tv this size…

  • Finally…my dream of having a TV to watch when i am taking a bath might come true….

    • for once a month I can go without a tv in there.

  • Can anyone here recommmend me what appropriate type of antenna should by used with this Kogan LED TV? I have bought a 22" one but couldn't receive chanels 7,9,10 as I wish because of the poor quality of the antenna, I guess. Have searched DSE, HNorman…but got lost in many diverse products.
    Many thanks.

    • I had a lot of trouble with indoor antennas, purchased a few different ones and constant drop outs etc.

I made one using a balun (the old connector they used for the flat ribbon type antenna cable before coax came out) and screwed 2 x 10-12 cm pieces of wire to it. Works a charm. Have 3 sets running off them now and far better than the store bought ones. Worth a try.

  • Does anyone know who/what Kogan was? all of a sudden i am getting advertisement emails and I don't know who or what they were before.

  • the one with the DVD player is only $204 ($70 more)
