  be wary… i'm pretty sure all dealextreme is fake… i bought some headphones, same box, look same.. but very close look at magnets or parts.. and not real. (though some items may look and work as real ones)

  Genuine from DX? I suppose anything's possible, but I'd suspect this is a knockoff - Not to say it's not every bit as good as the "official" one, but you may not be able to take it to the Apple store and have a "genius" replace it for you :)

  I think these may be similar to the ones sold on eBay for about the same price… I've bought these keyboards before, twice in fact. They are apple keyboards but the only problem was that the first one had a smooth surface finish and the second one is a bit more rough. I think that some may be replacement keyboards when you send your faulty one in for repairs and others may be the ones that didn't meet the QC tolerance limit. When they manufacture this they probably have estimated a certain percentage of keyboards not passing QC and they ended up being sold on DX and eBay.

    That difference in finish is a dead giveaway. Apple products are very consistent.
