Heard that Samsung’s CPU team has been disbanded.

Hopefully Australia gets snapdragon version in the future.

    • Or the Exynos gets much better, competition is good https://www.techspot.com/news/85098-amd-samsung-rdna-based-m…

      No thats not right.

Exynos will stop using their own custom cores and instead pay to license standard ARM cores instead. I believe its what Qualcomm did a number of years back which is why SD overtook Exynos, which was better a few years ago and people complained about SD at that time.

Samsung also in partnership with AMD to improve the GPU. Future Exynos should be much improved , on par with SD with the potential to surpass them again with the AMD partnership.

  • All the Tab S6 are out of stock. Good prices though.

    • the Black 128GB wifi and Blue 256GB wifi are still available

    • The Tab S6 screen has an issue with uneven black levels at low brightness. It's not a deal breaker and only some people will be bothered by it. Basically OLED panel lottery.

I tried 2 units and ended up returning both as they both had the same issue at varying levels.

  • Got a couple of .edu emails but cant seem to register. The verfication email never arrives. Anyone else having this problem? Samsung have been useless in helping.

  • This offer does NOT work with Samsung Education Store. I got the voucher code from Samsung and at the bottom of the email, there's following disclaimer.

    1. Discount off eligible purchases equal to or greater than $200 on the Samsung Online Store (shop.samsung.com/au) from 9.00am (AEST) on 19 November 2019 to 11.59pm (AEST) on 30 June 2020. Offer limited to 1 promotion code per customer per transaction. Customer must opt in to Samsung Australia marketing communications to be eligible to receive a promotion code. Excludes Samsung Enhanced Partnership Portals, Samsung Government Store, Samsung Business Store and Samsung Education Store. Subject to stock availability at time of purchase. Discount is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Not available in conjunction with any other offer unless otherwise specified.

I have also attempted to use the coupon while in the Education Store and the shopping cart refuses to accept it.
