Huawei Mate 20 Pro + Huawei GT Smartwatch Free on Optus $65 / Month (24 Months Plan) @ Harvey Norman

91

One of the deals that Harvey Norman has on at the moment is the Huawei Mate 20 ($799 usually) for free with a bonus Huawei GT Smart watch (worth around $140) on the Optus $65 plan for 24 months with 80 GB data and unlimited calls for new customers.

I picked this up yesterday, they had banners advertising this in the phone area but I couldn't find it online.

Pretty great deal if you ask me!

How long is the contract and how much to cancel early?

Btw that's the older model of smart watch and $140 new.

  • It's on a 24 month contract, didn't check about early cancellation as I'll use the plan

Couldn't you buy the mate 20 pro outright a year ago for like $600?

This is a terrible deal for a phone that was released in October 2018…

Better specs than the pixel 3 that sells for more right?

Yes, especially compare to G8S for $499 and 2019 release.

    Last MATE with Google Service.

      Full service

  • I am too lazy but someone should post the Reno 5G with $65 12 months term as a deal. You get $400 credit so $199 upfront with the current discount.

  • This phone is too outdated

I recently bought the mate 20 pro on marketplace so I could get out of my contract with the Samsung s10. The mate 20 feels more premium I think, and the button placement is much better. The cameras are comparable, with the mate 20 performing better at night in my opinion.

Will be a good deal if happened one year ago, I got my P20 pro from JBHI 1.5 years ago $55 a month for 24 month JBhifi $65 plan.

  • Does it run on Android or are they running their own OS? How has other people's experience been?

  • I got this phone 1.5 years ago when it first came out with this kind of plan. It is a good phone but not the latest model.
    Full google service.

Maybe a deal for a 12 month contract

    • Exactly

I got the phone when it first came out on an Optus education plan (sadly no longer available), $73/month with 50 GB data plus unlimited international calls, free TV streaming and Optus Sport. This was almost 18 months ago. Probably not the best deal for an older model?

  • Does anyone know if you can sign up for this deal if you are a Optus pre paid customer already?

    • ad didn't say anything about porting your nbr to Optus.. I thikn should be ok
