I had these a while ago, loved them, the audio quality is great, but the noise cancellation is sub par. They also only come with a weird cloth type bag, which I didn't like compared to the hard case with the QC35s.

    • Yep, if you want QC look elsewhere, if you want incredible sound ability, then there isn't much competition this side of any bose/sony etc. Just buy a hard case off Amazon for $50. Still a great deal with this price.

I've still got mine, and I guess everyone needs to repeat the advice for "clamping" for those with wider heads. I have no issues myself with comfort.

Sound is awesome. Build quality is right up there.

Maybe the PX-7 for those wanting a more improved QC

      • Thanks for sharing feedback.

    • Thanks for sharing.

    • Mine came with a hard case, I purchased in December 2019. Earlier models came with the cloth bag. Not sure how new Digital Cinema stock is. I purchased elsewhere.

"comfort issues with these headphones (tight clamping-force), particularly if you have a large head or large ears."
So what is a good ANC model for larger head/ears? Asking for a friend..

I used to have one, but gave it to my brother. It really does CLAMP to the side of your head. After 5 minutes it became too unbearable. Great sound though….

If you have glasses, forget about it

      • This was why I sold in the end.

        • any affordable one and good with glasses?

          • @uccoffee: I love my Bose QC35 to be honest, I use lots of different devices and no other pair had their feature to switch between them like the Bose, the ability to do that ranked higher in the end than the slight edge in sound quality of the Sony (QC35 equivalent forgotten their name WXM3000 something)

            • @cc23: I went for the Jabra 85h via Amazon in the recent OzB deal but returned them as one cup started crackling. Also does switching seamlessly (which is great) but not comfortable enough in the long run. Thinking now about the Bose

  • Amazing sound, good noise cancellation and fairly firm clamp (I wear sport an XL snowboarding helmet)….bought mine in dec 2017 and still absolutely loving it!

  • I just tried these on at DJ and they didn't feel clampy to me and I'd say I had a big head (6"4 100kg+ man). I'd say they are pretty comfortable :)

If anything I'd say I felt a bit of pressure from the headband on the top of my head.

Very good sound and thinking of getting a pair.

I was also very impressed with the Sony 1000XM3's too but the build quality on this was way better.

    my2cents.
