$39.50 rrp per one - they'd want to hug those plums for dear life

    • +4

For that price I'd want them to do more than hug them.

  • Is this the type of underpants that CEOs and banker bros wear?

    • $13 underwear? i highly doubt it

      • cheap compared to womens’ underwear ….guess it depends what type of woman and her profession, income, etc.

  • +1

Does it come with a shot of whiskey

  • +6

price seems ok for what are essentially step ones, but you're dreaming on that RRP

  • +2

Unlike stepone, these look like they only come in one length.

For anyone who's knock kneed or just has huge thighs, any "trunks" length underwear like that risks acting like a knife on your thighs at the finishing seam on the leg.

  • +18

C’mon OP, don’t feed us BS ‘normal prices’ when your site is littered with pop ups about promo codes, offers etc.

Also am extremely skeptical of all these ‘internet brand’ products whose entire product range all has perfect five star reviews lmao

  • +1

Not sure about that RRP, but that price for 6 delivered is worth giving it a go. Their refund policy looks pretty fair.

  • +4

Does this mean Commando Mondays are back?

… Wanna throw an extra pair in to sooth this OCD ozbargainer???

  • +1

Wouldn't want to leave skid marks on these things guess I'm out

    • toilet paper supplies are back to normal ….skids marks are a thing of the past ……depending on how many sheets you use.

  • Better off waiting for a deal on stepone and getting that.

  • +10

There is no way anyone would pay $39.50 for ONE pair of this brand- that nobody has ever heard of. Also, these guys are based in Thailand. Imagine the returns process if you ordered the wrong size.

    Your RRP's:
$39.50 per pair in a 6 pack. Free shipping.
$33 per pair in a 3 pack (regular price). Free shipping.

State the real RRP and stop misrepresenting this as a "deal".

  • -2

I've seen many people on here rave about these types of underwear. At the discount price it seems fair :)

  • +6

That regular price is an absolute joke. Even if this is now an alright deal, I will avoid out of principle.

  • I find the champion branded Underwear from Costco a solid buy. 3 pairs for under $20 and they don't ride up for me at all

  • +3

Be careful of sizing, the sizing is small compared to our sizing charts ( Large size is 76-86cm(30-34”)

It's a good price for these underwater. I've bought them before, and they're second best to Step One. So therefore very good

    • +6

Ah, well I live above water, so I’m out.

  • +5

I just can't see value the original price. I feel as though the discounted price is the standard price.

    • +5

Exactly. Ridiculous and unfortunately all too common marketing ploy that attracts a few suckers. Negworthy behaviour on OzB for sure though.

      • +3

How do the products have 5 star but the reviews indicate people giving less than 5 stars? To maintain a 5 star rating every review would need to be 5 stars.

        • +1

Not really. They just need to average greater than 4.5 stars.
For example, if there were three reviews (two 5 stars and one 4 star), that should still come out at 5 stars overall.

          Mmmm maths!

        • +3

Reading the reviews some of them sound like their mates just reviewed them.

How uncomfortable can underwear be anyway? I'm wearing Jockey at the moment and it's not like I'm sitting here thinking "omg my underwear is so uncomfortable I need to buy this perfect underwear". But then again after a quick Google Jockey gets decent reviews.

From reading the reviews on that site it's like everyone who gave it 4+ stars used to wear sandpaper underwear or something.

@Ghost47: I've got one pair of bamboo jocks just to try them out and i must admit…. pretty bloody comfy, its def a step up. It's like anything really, you get used to something and consider it the norm until you try something better and get wowed by it.

            • +2

@TightTerry: Hmm fair enough. I can't feel the underwear I'm wearing now unless I sit and try to think about it. I think this deal just rubs me up the wrong way to be honest.

              • @Ghost47: the RRP is ridiculous, clearly no one is buying them at that. I cant vouch for this brand but if they are similar to stepone then the sale price looks ok. The Bamboo pair were a treat on those 40 degree days, really help the eggs breathe

          • +2

@Ghost47: I used to wear Jockey long trunks but at $25-30 a piece they were way too expensive. So I swapped to Kmart Alpha long trunks and much much better and only $8 each.

    • Hey you wanna buy this underwear? I do you special price.

  • It's tempting with prices like this on ebay…
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mens-Bamboo-Underwear-Mens-Disti…

    • haha thats like 8.40 a pair That is a 8 pack for 72 dollars listed on ebay

      • I didn't mean it was exactly the same, just a comparison to what is on offer on ebay. That's the best deal I could find and if these are a better quality then not a bad price. Also I don't like the dick hole thingy on the front of the ebay ones. The main reason for not having purchased a while ago.

I've ordered a set of these perfect ones and already sent with DHL so deal looks good so far.

        • definitely very tempting with that price on ebay , So did you end up getting the ebay deal or OP's deal?

  • +2

I would rather freeball. Can't keep my boys choked up at a price like that.

  • +3

I bought these 6 months ago for a similar price to that reduced price. I must admit, they are very very good. Especially compared with your standard cotton trunks that ride up.
There is no riding up and they're very comfortable all around. I saw a comment above about watching the seam? I've not had that problem at all. There are definitely seams but i can't feel them at all.
I'd say give them a whirl.

  • +2

Not sure why the all the neg's
No different to CT shirts, TM lewis or kitchenware with crazy RRP's
End of the day it's $13 a pair delivered

I got a bunch of these and wear them everyday; great value (with discount codes) and very comfy.
Threw out all my CK's which would be garbage after 6 months

P.S. You have to go one size bigger, check size chart

    • what is the expected delivery time? my order seems to have stopped tracking after thailand on the 15th of May, expected a little longer with covid restrictions but been 2 weeks now

      • About 3 weeks but that was before COVID delays, it’s regular post so the tracking will won’t give much detail

  • +4

Calling fabric things made from rayon "bamboo" is illegal in some countries and should be illegal in all countries! Its not totally dissimilar to calling E10 petrol "Flour Starch". We might as well call all petroleum products "naturally aged and pressed organic material".

  • So if i wear a medium in bonds trunks should i go large or extra large in these?

    • Compare the measurement on the bonds with the chart on their site. I recon L. I went from XL to XXL.

  • No more xl sizes

  • +2

can vouch for these…they are actually pretty good. have not tried step one. So can't compare.

  • +1

just get step-one and dont waste your time.

    • Don't waste your time but do waste your money? Have you got a good bargain to publish?

  • +1

Suspect marketing from a new and suspect company. Stick to reliable Aussie Step One's.

    Beware hungry pandas .. :-( .. !!

  • i have a code so we both can get 10$ discount , try this one
    https://theperfectunderwear.com/?smile_referral_code=JLtxR1y…

  • how easy is it trying to get your money back from these guys?

my order is still showing Departed from Transit Facility in singapore since 27th of May, i get that there are delays with overseas orders and they have changed there routing but to be honest i am over waiting for them and just got some cheapies locally

i've emailed the admin as it says to email them if nothing has arrived 1 month after shipping which it started shipping on 14th of May.

has anyone here tried doing any sort of return/refund with these guys, are you better off lodging paypal claim first? i know they flaunt that they have a easy return policy and you can keep your first pair even after opening it. just wondering if anyone here has tried that here.
