Goes without saying, this will be cheaper on the EPP and includes free delivery if you have access.

    • EPP?

    • Note really, it is $1,296.75 in EPP

      • Depends on the EPP ;)

Keep in mind that although technically this is a “QLED”, the panel itself is only 50Hz (100Hz motion rate), and the colour and contrast are decent but not great.

    • this or Hisense 55R7?

      • Yeah I'd like to know how this compares to the R7

Do some reasearch on 2020 models before buying, from all manufacturers. Samsung have repeated tricks from last year, I think you'll find this is roughly equiavalent to the RU8000 of last year, which itself was inferior to the NU8000 of 2018. If you want a Q60R equiavelent, seems like the Q70T is what you'll have to go for.

The competition in the market has seen some shifts around model numbers and price points…the big boys have to compete with the likes of Hisense and TCL after all.

waited to see what the Q60R replacement was like…
turned out to be a spec downgrade

      bought a ru8000 82" on clearance..
      couldnt be happier

      • Absolutely. Huge difference between RU and TU series. Clearly RU is much better in all aspects. Missed in 65" and now weeping!!

        • yeah the kick in the balls is that the TUxx costs what the NU/RU launched at….

Good to see some action on the TV front, its been a tough couple weeks if you are currently looking.

The 65" Q60T is $1586 inc delivery, slightly below the $1610 at Good Guys Commercial, hopefully this is the start of some decent discounting.

  • OLED before QLED, but not before savings?

  • This is no better than the ru8000 do not get it, it’s edge lit and it’s 50hz

  • I would rather wait for an OLED to go on sale.

    e.g. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/508750

  • I just paid 1308 for my 75 Samsung

  • I just tried the code and it says “This code cannot be applied to your order”

    • Worked for me

      • So weird, I can’t seem to get the code to work.. it’s just PHREEZE right? Where do I find the terms and conditions?

  • Can someone help me? I tried putting the code PHREEZE in the "Gift cards, vouchers, coupons" "Enter code:" form in the eBay Checkout, but I keep getting this message: "This code can't be applied to your order."

    • Figured it out! Apparently my ebay account was still registered in the USA, probably because I registered before there was an eBay AU site!
