Best Place to Buy Branded Trackies

Hey guys thanks in advance
I'm in the market for some joggers/trackies that are a good brand like champion/ Nike/ Adidas/ Puma/ fila or something similar that I can wear around the house but also if I want to go out as well. I looked online and saw they are all going for around 60-80 and all seemed to be full price. I was hoping someone knew any places with a sale on them or that just sell them for cheaper in general.
thanks again

Not being critical of your fashion choices, but I am always amused when people seek out visibly 'branded' clothing; doesn't matter what the brand is, as long as it has a brand visible.
The brand should pay you to do their advertising for them.

Also, trackies are trackies, you look like a bogan wearing them to the shops even if they have Adidas on them, in some cases more so.

It's the reverse of all other models. You pay extra in order to advertise for them.

Of course it's more around trying to make others think you're more attractive, rich etc. because of the brand, but always surprises me how many people actually buy into that.

make others think you're more attractive, rich etc

I dress like a hobo, the logic being that people will think that I spend little on myself in order to be able to spend more on others.

Still waiting for the gold diggers to show up, any day now!

Because everyone knows rich people show off their branded stuff.

Never seen Bill Gates in anything but full adidas tracksuits (not just the pants like a pleb)

And obviously Michael Jordan is super famous for his love of Yeezy sneakers

well, the branded ones usually last longer and are better fit + quality. I usually end up throwing away kmart or bigw ones after a year. I have a Nike training pants that was $40 has lasted five years and is still not completely wasted.

Trackies aren't for going out. You'll already look like a bum who was too lazy to change pants when they left the house.
The branding will actually make it worse, because it'll be obvious that you always wear them out, and aren't just having a one-off lazy day.

Luckily the cheapest pair of trousers will look better, so for about $24 at Kmart you can probably get trackies AND actual pants for when you wanna look like a person.

This^. And if you add a nice Kmart shirt or jacket and a pair of Kmart’s synthetic leather shoes (honestly, they look the real thing), you can walk proud while out shopping, knowing you look a million dollars.

    • Oh noes! Crentist thinks I look like a bum!

… you say, while wishing that everyone else will think the logo on your new clothes is super cool

        • We all signal, it's inherent in our nature. To the extent I choose tracksuit brands, signaling isnt a big factor though.

But yes I absolutely value the opinion of literally everyone else in the world more than I value yours.

            ok, i dont mind

  • Just picked up an outstanding pair of greys for $17 at the local cheapo shop.

  • Who cares about labels? Just find a pair that are comfortable.

    imo

Trackies with elastic around the ankle cuffs look classier.

I suggest you buy 1 size smaller than your usual size (or get skinny style); otherwise it will look daggy out.

You could go to Lowes and check out a style that suits you (or online Lowes; but better to check in person)

    • -1

      Wait, Lowes still exist? Huh.

    • +2

I hate cuffed trackies. But i am a child of the 90s.

Bonds - quality, good fit, subtle branding.
    DFO or bonds clearance online.

  • Check online(eg Price Hipster) or the brands stores and outlets. If you find something under $30 buy a few. My cheapest is Reebok Workout pants for $13 ea delivered from Ozsale. They had the 36 hours and ZNE collection for about $50 odd delivered. Nike casual can be $25 - $40 at outlets. Puma can be cheaper than Fila so that's probably the value winner.

Branded trackies = oxymoron. Thanks for making me laugh.

    • +3

      Not really.

Classy trackies might be an oxymoron.

      Branded trackies, not so much.

  • Im still wearing my ADF (Navy) issued tracksuit pants 15 years later. Double lined and very comfortable. Go to a surplus store or online and try and find a pair. They will last for longer than any branded trackpant.

  • Only in Australia do people have such judgments about what other people wear.

    • +1

      False.

I also giggle at the irony of judgment on people being judgemental (while fully agreeing with the sentiment mind you!).

  • I think there's meant to be a puma % off sale as part of Click Frenzy tomorrow, have a look there
