Free Adult Ballet Classes at Home from The Australian Ballet

640

From their website;

With the Australian Ballet Centre closed and our Studios classes temporarily postponed, we’re introducing a new way to join our adult ballet classes. At Home With Studios gives you the opportunity to learn ballet for free – wherever you are.

A gift from the national ballet company to all Australians. Everyone is welcome, so no matter if you have two left feet or feel at home at the barre, we'll have you on your way to performing the perfect pirouette in no time.

Three levels are available; Beginner for those who want to learn the ballet basics, Intermediate with a focus on technique and Advanced for our loyal bunheads. Each class is 30-40 minutes long with most of the lesson spent at the barre (or bench, table or chair!).

These classes are available for a limited time only. Sign up for news on future classes.

    The website comments "Suitable for" but really, there's nothing stopping someone younger than 18+ who would like to follow along with the online classes.
    For the more advanced lessons, parents might want to supervise their younger kids so that they don't accidentally hurt themselves hence the tag.
    Additionally, I suspect the 18+ tag covers the newsletter signup (ie. for Privacy policy).

  • Is it adult ballet or ballet for adult?
