      Q12HD is amazing for calls, with the mic right near your mouth according to reviews.

      Theyre a behind the neck style though.

      If you intend to use them all day, taking them on and off, this is better because they magnet together around your neck. No need to put them somewhere.
      If you need to look cool and up on the trends though, yep, triengine series. you'll sound clear, but quiet.

    So Got my TrueEngine SE today that I ordered last week.

    Fits well, though protrudes out of the ear a bit (knew that when i bought it, no major issue)
    Sound quality is quite good. Happy with it, and no real issues/ complaints. Pretty happy with this aspect

    Call quality appears to be hit and miss? I'm not sure what's going on, because i've spoke to 5 people so far using these. 2 could barely hear me at all, 2 said no issues at all, and 1 said it was quieter than usual but not terrible.

    I was sat in the same spot when I made these calls, and don't think signal was the issue, because when I switched to speakerphone or phone audio, the problem went away immediately. Will monitor it tomorrow, but may return these if I can't sort out the mic. Not expecting crystal clear audio, but two of the calls were so bad.

    EDIT: forgot to mention, replaced the stock tips with memory foam ones - but then the case doesn't close properly. will need to find some lower profile memory foam ones (the ones I have do seem a bit larger than usual to be fair

        So I've read that the mic only works on the first ear that pairs..

        So perhaps the mic on one of our earphones is cooked.. Will try do some more testing tomorrow.

          Have experimented with both left and right first and no real difference. Still getting hit and miss. One interesting comment I got was that they could hear my kids playing louder than they could hear me.. which was very weird, because I could barely hear my kids playing in the other room. This makes me think the issue is something to do with the noise cancelling rather than a hardware issue.

          A real shame, as I am really happy with the earphones otherwise. Sound quality is good, and they're very comfortable and fit well etc. Literally the only issue is with calls.

          I am likely going to return these, as calling is quite important. Will probably keep trying for a few more days before I call it quits.

          In short: If you don't plan on using it for calls, these are great. Get them. If you want to make calls, look at something else.
