sorry what I meant was like what 2stroksmokr said…another reason is because it's a HP (with all heat issues) I would rather get the XPS from dell or even the vostro for around the same price (from the Dell outlet or wait for the next 30% sale)

I've always thought only if the deal sucked, you could neg it.
If it's a brand that has bad reliability (which it is in this case), that might be enough to make it a bad deal. If it's cheap though, then that kinda compensates. Either way, atm it doesn't look like good value to me.

No direct link to offer, store website search for 'HP" brings up one Compaq…
Their online help said "we sale it in shop not on website so if you want it just come to our shop"

Please link to the deal, not your homepage. There's an ad for an HP for $799 on the homescreen, but can't find a way to get details about the offer, and it's not in your online store. Can we get the model number or more detailed specs please? (Eg, screen resolution).
