Annual Passes:

Once purchased, you will receive a digital Merlin Annual Pass. This offer is not applicable to any current memberships. Note: Gold Annual passes have date restrictions such as School Holidays and Public Holidays, whilst Platinum pass holder can visit at any date! Please note that Platinum members will need to pre-book to guarantee entry during our busy periods!

Note 2: everyone ages 3 years and over will need their own pass to enter their attraction. The LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Annual Pass is only valid at legoland attraction, whilst the Merlin Platinum pass is valid at 10 attractions in Australia and New Zealand, which also includes SEA LIFE aquariums in Melbourne, Sydney, Sunshine Coast and Auckland, Madame Tussauds Sydney, Wild Life Sydney Zoo, Sydney Tower Eye, Otway Fly and Illawarra Fly!

    Annual passes are valid til 30th Sept 2021. So you do get more than 12 months, allowing the attractions to be open.

      It’s smaller than expected. Kids will enjoy themselves for a couple hours or so. Probably not a place you’d spend majority of day at.
      Wouldn’t be somewhere i’d visit frequently

      The only difference between gold and platinum is that you can’t go to any attractions during school holidays with the gold pass. You can go anytime with platinum. Otherwise both passes have access to all Merlin attractions. For an extra $10, i’d just get platinum.

      not that i am aware of. but if you have merlin pass, you can get 25% off admission for up to 4 members.

      Gold $34.50/platinum $44.50 price is actually the family price per person. You have to buy a min of 3 passes to get this price (max 2 adults, min 1 child). Otherwise it’s gold $49.50/ platinum $59.50 individual price.

    Was considering buying a platinum for future trips down to melb, but then i read the terms and conditions:

    "Platinum Merlin Annual Passes are valid for 365 days from the date of collection. For passes purchased online, you have 7 days to collect your pass from the date of purchase. Currently, we are unable to send out passes purchased online by post. All passes purchased on this website must be collected from LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne."

    Well then, there goes that idea..

        Might be a bit late now… but I've just bought 5 platinum passes and the passes are separate. They are in one pdf file, however each person has his/her own page as a pass.

        In saying that, I'm not sure whether the passes are linked in the system, such that when you go to use it they might check whether your family is together?
