Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle #4 - Pay What You Want

The Humble Bundle is back with the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle
Be sure to pay what you'd like for Frozen Synapse, an excellent turn-based strategy game for Mac, Windows, and Linux, while supporting two worthy charities. If you decide to pay above the average price, you can also receive the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle, which includes Trine, Shadowgrounds, Shadowgrounds: Survivor, the Jack Claw prototype, and a Splot preorder.
Download the games instantly from the Humble Bundle, or add them to your Steam library.
Choose to support the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Child's Play Charity at the same time.
If you pay more than the average of $3.91 you will also get the entire Humble Frozenbyte Bundle as well.

The Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle
Pay what you want. Frozen Synapse normally costs $25, but we're letting you set the price! The Frozen Synapse soundtrack is also included with your purchase (normally $6). Plus, if you pay more than the average price, we'll throw in the entire Humble Frozenbyte Bundle — a $45 value!
All of the games work great on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

I paid full price for this game a few months ago (~$25 give or take) and I thought it a was worth it back then, but has a pretty steep learning curve.
Get past that and the strategy required is amazing, especially in PvP.

Average is now $4.37. Though all of those other games were in the last bundle.

Yep, average is increasing now, so better get in fast(for the cheaper bundle)

why would you want to ruin an already good deal?

And there's always a few people who don't know a joke when they see one.

    Humble bundle iz teh leet.

Then don't! Pay less than the average and just get Frozen Synapse. Isn't that ridiculously, painfully, stupidly obvious???

I may be biased being a professional software developer with a game dev background but I think it's well worth it and the money definitely goes to a more worthy destination than if you buy games from EB, Steam etc.

Then why drive the average down, if the cause is worthy?

The time you spend trying to drive the average down with $0 purchases would not be worth the money you'd save. I think he was joking.

        Because he was joking… god.

Joke clarity relies on 4 things:

          1. knowing the person well enough to know that they'd be joking about something stupid they may be saying
          2. tone of voice, facial expression, body language
          3. appropriate context
          4. smilies

This is the internet so 1 and 2 are gone. There was no 3, really and 4 was absent.

In such a situation it's not suprising that the joke is not gotten, esp if the context it is done in makes it quite likely that someone would say that seriously.

Least that's my take on it.

          Why is no. 1 gone?

I was considering paying $25 for this, but was waiting for even $5 off. Great deal.

Frozen Synapse + Trine for less than $5 is a no-brainer.

wanted to pay 12.98$ Aus, but forgot our dollar wasn't 1:1 with US atm -_- fail. Oh well.

It tells you at check out how much the conversion is.

oh lordy, when did America get in front of our dollar? I think I need to watch the news more…

cool, first purchase of an indie-esque game. Looks like a fun game, paid a speck under $10.

Another game just got added: Trauma

    From the email

We just added TRAUMA to the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle. If you have already purchased your bundle, it will automatically show up on your Humble Bundle download page or Steam library.

TRAUMA tells a story of a young woman who survives a car accident. Recovering at the hospital, she has dreams that shed light on different aspects of her identity - such as the way she deals with the loss of her parents. TRAUMA lets you experience those dreams in an interactive way, reminiscent of point-and-click adventure games.

Love the Humble Bundle offers when they come up :) Great games, going to good causes such as charities and helping out game developers. Just about everybody benefits.
