Help with Xbox Game Pass Options

Hello,

Please excuse my ignorance but I need some help, son got an Xbox for his birthday and I brought 3 months Xbox game pass to go with it which is about to expire.

Son would like Xbox live gold or even ultimate.

My questions are:

If we buy gold will he still have access to the same games on game pass but with additional multiplayer games?

Are you still able to upgrade to Xbox ultimate for $1 if we have not done this before?

Many thanks for your help. Just getting a bit confused with what you actually get with each and don’t want him to loose his favourite games (and then have him whinging for another subscription)

    Xbox Ultimate = Xbox Live Gold + Game Pass

    I think Game Pass allows you to play a range of games. Xbox Live allows you to play online and access some free/cheap games

      Thank you, that makes perfect sense now. I just need to find out if I can convert to ultimate for the $1 as I am not sure if this offer is still running.
