A good price drop over this deal

1.) Download & install the following VPN trial software on your phone / pc / mac > zenvpn or hotspotshield
2.) Select your location as Brazil (using Brazil ip) and click connect
3.) Visit the Xbox.com website in incognito mode on your browser and login using your Xbox Live details
4.) Redeem the code!

And these steps for best swapping XBL to Game Pass Ultimate (for new users to Ultimate):

1) Buy 12m Brazil Live Gold code via Cdkeys. $46.09
2) Using TunnelBear VPN set to Brazil log into Xbox app/Microsoft Store/Redeem code. Code should then redeem for 12m Live Gold.

      It should be immediate. However I have used PayPal and it's sent to my nominated PayPal email address. Once you received your email from CDKeys.com, there is a link at the bottom to "Access my Code"

        I have not received any emails from cdkeys … thats the issue. I can see in my account profile that order was processed and completed, when I lick on details it doesnt show me the key.

    Be mindful when buying Brazilian key.as much as i love a good xbox gold deal this unfortunately not worth getting banned at worst and losing your money at best for code not getting accepted.even if everything goes ok you will always be subject of deals and promotions targeted for Brazil.you may dont mind it in the beginning but it will annoy the hell out of you after some time

      You're not making any sense. Its working fine you'll not get banned once you have redeemed it. What is this you're talking about promotions targeted for Brazil. You only need to use VPN to redeem your 12 moths Xbox Live Gold. Once redeemed you can log into you Xbox as normal. Stop making shit up. Its a 5 minutes job to save $40. I redeemed 2 Xbox Live Gold using my phone while taking a shit. Cost me $99 for 27 months of Xbox Gamepass Ultimate.

        They worded it a bit wrong, but the Brazil ones are a bit sketchy

        I don't remember or care enough, but some dude explained it on here in the past fine. Long story short they don't really crack down on international Gold codes on any country other than Brazil, because there it's so much cheaper sometimes they do crack down, or something. I'm not making sense either tbh, maybe Google it, I'm not too busy to be on OzB, but too busy to do that right now.

        But AFAIK it was a bit iffy.

    Thank you. Tried it. Got an email from CD keys pretty much instantly with a link to the code down the bottom. All worked fine, and am now paid up to 06/2021 with the free month I got from the console I bought last week and the free month it gave me for setting up automatic renewals.

    Being new to this, I'm not keen to pay several years in advance, but for those concerned it definitely worked as instructed.

      Being new to this, I reckon you should buy 3y worth of live gold membership, then convert it to "Xbox Game Pass Ultimate" for $1.

      This way, you can have over 100 games to play for 3y for only $120.97.

      But you may need wait until 06/2020 before you are able to add up to 3y of live gold membership.

          You can only add up to 36m prepaid membership.

          Your current membership expires 06/2021. So you can only add up to 26m prepaid ending on 06/2022.

          Until 06/2020, it is when you can add the last 12m membership to bank up to 36m live gold membership.

          On 06/2020, If you don’t mind to lose the $1 one month XBOX GAME PASS ULTIMATE. You can also transfer 1:1 ratio of the 36m LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP to GAME PASS ULTIMATE.

          Otherwise, you can wait until 07/2020 to transfer for GAME PAS ULTIMATE and maintain 35m transfer + 1m ultimate membership for $1.

          Same problem, still worth it for $15.95 I guess as I presume you get the full 24+ months.

          I had Ultimate before which expired last October. Maybe if I wait a while it will go back to $1 (for 1/3 months?)

          Alternatively CD keys has 14 days for $3.99 which I guess should convert too (not tried)

    If you already have converted your membership over to Ultimate, be aware that trying to put Gold credits onto it won't convert at 1:1.
    They reduce your 12 month Gold down to even it up rough value wise.

    If you wait till your Ultimate expires, THEN credit your account with Gold… you'll have the monthly Gold credits put on as full months (ie 12 months Gold will give 12 months membership). THEN sign up to Microsoft's Ultimate (normally they have a 3 months for $15 or something like that).

    Doing that will convert all Gold over to Ultimate month for month in full.

    Also, using a VPN on its own and setting it to Brazil sometimes doesn't do it right.
    I use Chrome Browser in incognito mode to sign in to the Microsoft account… and that's the only thing I use Chrome for.
    No traceable cookies to get you unstuck.

    Microsoft may try a "this is a suspicious log in" security email sent to you. DON'T click on the link to verify!
    Either verify by 'other means', or manually copy the link in the email into Chrome's incognito mode and do it that way.
    M$ starting to get clever with this whole 'VPN set to Brazil' thing, and sometimes it doesn't work because cookies left in your usual browser.
    Private Window (in usual trusted browser Firefox) doesn't cut the mustard for me sometimes. Chrome Incognito mode has never failed me yet.

      I am trying to redeem via incognito mode on a chrome book as you have suggested. I have logged into my Microsoft account and gone into redeem code and it comes up with my email address and (Australia) next to it. So I am not sure I am doing the right thing, I did not actually put in my code just in case. Any help appreciated thanks

            @patthecat: Now that you've gone to the Xbox website 'in Australia'… I'd strongly suggest you delete all cookies before trying 'in brazil'.

            If you leave footprints to Australia, it could just force you to use the Australian log in area preventing you Brazil log in.

              @UFO: Thanks for your help will delete cookies as suggested, I have previously logged on to Microsoft on my devices as the chrome book automatically brought up my password. Microsoft definitely know my email address is in Australia. I have never signed on to Microsoft on my phone though so might try via there and use phone data instead of wifi. iI wonder if it would be better for me to wait til my current Xbox subscription runs out next month and then create a new microsoft account under a brand new email?       I didn’t worry about the extra months and left it as 27 months. Adding the extra to get to 35 months will increase the monthly cost from $3. There’ll probably be another deal in a couple of years.

    So I managed to get Zen on the phone - on the PC it restricts me to France / Netherlands. But on the phone the xbox site detects I'm in Australia even when using icognito mode. Getting pretty frustrating!
    The method of switching location to brazil on the xbox didn't work

        I would have to agree. I think my bargain hunt is more driven by finding ways to hack life rather than actually saving money. When the hack becomes too much of work sometimes I avoid it so probably I don't care so much about being stingy I just want to enjoy hacking something.

      This deal allows people buy gold or extend their existing gold for about half the price locally. They can then optionally convert any period they have to GPU for an extra $1. So 1 year of gold for $40 could become 1 year of GPU for $41.
      If you are on an existing GPU subscription there really any benefit here for you. Based on what I read above you could buy 1 year of gold and xbox will convert that to 4 months of GPU. Works out cheaper than full price $15.95/mth but given your long expiry I would recommend waiting on future deals

      If you buy 24 months Gold, then buy a month GPU for $1 (for example), it'll convert your Gold to GPU giving you 24 months.

      If GPU has a 3 month offer (say for $15.95 or whatever), then you'll get 27 months GPU

      (assuming you're new to GPU)
