Just picked up a set at Underwood QLD store earlier this morning. Crazy amazing price for entry-level 2.1 speakers. I'm not sure about stock levels at other stores, but definitely worth a phone call. Cheapest on StaticIce is $52.

    ooh, thee look good to use on my mini in my loungeroom. from what i am reading people have been using them for watching movies and they work well. I wonder if they are on sale everywhere? Were they in the "bargain bin" or on the floor?

    Like all Officeworks clearance sales, it all comes down to how lucky you are. Maybe a store near you still has stock, maybe not. I will say though, I've been using these speakers for a year now, and it was well worth the $60 I spent.

    Holy crap that's cheap for $16. I got my Logitech 2.0 speakers for $20 delivered… but these sound much better.

    Really good deal. Have had these speakers for years and still performing as strongly as ever. Good enough to fill a decent size room. Bass control via a dial is a great feature.

        Yeah i've had mine for about 4-5yrs now. Always happy with them, until the dog (puppy) was going through that chewing phase!
        I got a soldering iron as a present, and have always been intending to fix the audio cable, but never got around to it.
        Bought mine from Umart, or MSY for ~$55 i believe.

        Have since bought the Logitech Z520 2.0 speakers since. But for $16, i will buy some for the living room, hook up to the TV. I reckon the sound out of these will be better than my housemate's Samsung 51" Plasma 3D TV.

        Anyone tried Officeworks Oxley, or Milton (Brisbane)?

    Logitech X-530 Speakers is also cheap ($33.66) but out of stock @online so maybe your local stores still have stock, worth a phone call.

    just called in OW alexandria - as soon as I asked about logitech speaker - the guy said it is out of stock for x230 / ask to check the x530. it is the same result no stock.
