Seiko Arnie SNJ025P ($429 Inc Shipping) @ Starbuy

540
SNJ025P

Great price on the Seiko Arnie SNJ025P, 46% off RRP. Free shipping within Australia. Have kept an eye on this since it came out last year, this is by far the cheapest I've ever seen. Pretty rare for it to dip below the $500 mark, and I'm sure I've never seen it drop below the $470 mark before.

This is the classic black-and-silver colourway. Hodinkee review can be found here. There are also PADI and black-and-gold colourways available but they're obviously not quite as close to the original Arnie. I've never seen those colourways as cheap as $429 either, though I think I've spotted the PADI version as low as $450 once or twice.

Don't forget to use the coupon code "SNJ025P", otherwise the watch will show up as $506.

(PS - ripper service by Starbuy, I placed my order on Friday around noon, got an Australia Post shipping notification at 5pm the same day, expected delivery date is Monday. Though that seems optimistic given the pandemic …)

Great deal, i got the gold version for the $479 the other day which was about $40 off this is even better.

Yea .. but your gold version is better .. so I'd pay the extra cash for your version for sure .. but a lot prefer this traditional colour.

Yeah look I almost grabbed The original one, but I liked how much more blacked out the gold one was (also in person the gold is quite subtle). But the traditional color is still very nice.

If only I didnt have punt wrists.

    • Arnie might be able to help you out.

    • I've got pretty narrow wrists - about 6.5 inch circumference. I'm still rocking a Seiko SNE497P, which is also a shrouded diver & has a similar case diameter (46.7mm vs the Arnie's 47.8mm). If you're on the fence, I'd recommend that you activate Paypal's return shipping reimbursement offer & pay by Paypal - that way you can give it a shot and return for free if it doesn't work out.

Do you mind posting a wrist shot please? Or a wrist roll video :)

these wear quite small depsite their size … definitely all good for small wrists .. easy to wear with 6.5" wrists.

    • By the way - I expect that the Arnie's strap will be longer than a regular watch strap, since it's a diving watch (they normally come with longer straps so you can fit it over a wetsuit). The excess length might bother you if you have narrow wrists. Some people just cut off the extra length, but I prefer to use shorter aftermarket straps - highly recommend the CZ-1 straps sold through the Watchuseek forums.

      • looking at videos, it does not look much (or any) longer than a standard strap. Certainly not like what you would find on a cressi leonardo. it is not a diving watch as such, just a watch you can dive with (not that I see the point), so i cant imagine they would have a wetsuit in mind when designing it.

      • Just received the Arnie in the mail. Strap length is 140/85 mm (excluding buckle).

  • I picked this version up instead of the gold version. Such a good price!

  • Was looking for a new watch, cheaper than this price tag, however after looking at reviews it seems this is a good buy and even more so at this discount, so I am now (soon) a proud owner of this watch … Cheers for the post

  • very nice

  • Is there any other code for other product?

I am looking to get this a bit cheaper! https://www.starbuy.com.au/seiko-mens-tachymeter-chronograh-…

That's the same price as in the members email that came out on Friday. The same email OPs deal came from. I doubt you'll get one any cheaper.

      • Thanks

  • Pity the stripe is not my liking.

    • Overall it's not that aesthetically pleasing I guess🤷🏻‍♂️

  • Just so you know, the LCD is rated for 7 years from Seiko then it may need replacing. This is pretty standard for most LCDs on these watches and is disclosed in the user's manual. Chances are it'll last much longer but YMMV.

    • Yea … I don't think I'll be worrying about replacing the screen … considering LCD watches made in the 80s are still running perfectly

  • Does the code work for the other colours? I quite like the padi one

    • me too .. but no, the code does not work for that one, just the standard (black) one

  • Anyone having issues buying it?
I complete all fields and click on purchase but it just refreshes to the same screen. Tried it on both mobile and computer.
Maybe it's not meant to be…

  • Awesome watch. Already have one, but was tempted to pick up the gold SNJ028P after seeing this, which is also a great price. Starbuy customer service is excellent too
