  • Any performance reviews? Whats the smallest case this actually fits?

      I have updated the post

I need it at this price. What is it exactly?

      • It is a unique product. It is a AIO to fit where just a low clearance cooler would fit.

About the same cooling performance as a NH-D15 according to Guru3D. Getting the rightly sized case may limit your options though…

That's actually insane in my books. On par acoustics as well (in terms of decibels - don't know about pitch though)

    • +2

That performance does not agree with GN or LTT.

  • Can this be installed in ATX by any chance?

    • I'm sure it can, at a guess just need to check ram heights and the like, though it's probably fine.

    • Wondering the same.

From the pics in the above article, it looks like it relies on legs that screw onto the corners of a mini-ITX size motherboard. Likely other sizes don't have screw holes in those places (they'd be in the middle of the board somewhere.

Perhaps if you could figure out a different way to support it, it'd be fine?

  • Wow, never heard of this…. kinda interesting.

  • Review done in 2016. I don't think is cooler have a chance cooling the extremely hot Intel CPU these days.

  • I might be missing something here, but can this thing only be installed in Corsair Mini Itx cases? I have a Bitfenix Prodidgy and wouldnt mind this.

  • I wonder if it would work on a PS4 Pro, I think the tube is a little short to fit the cooler outside the case.

Only a mid-tier cooler at best, with similar performance to a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo Black edition. But a decent price considering the Hyper 212 was going for 49 pre-coronavirus.

The question is how to install the 212 inside a itx case?

      • I have a NH-D15 (Not the newer 's' version) inside my wife's Fractal Node 304 ITX case, has about 5-10mm of clearance above the cooler. It does have 1 of the fans removed from the cooler, though in my mind this is not an issue as it has another 140mm Noctua Fan mounted to the case directly behind the cooler, and 2x Noctua 92mm Fans at the front. It's certainly never had issues with heat.

Basically you just need to make sure you go for an ITX case that has the Power Supply mounted at the front, rather than at the back above the CPU like the Cooler Master case I just built my daughters computer that I 'inherited' for free.. Certainly bugger all clearance in that one, though I made do.

I'm sure if I can get all that to fit, you can find an ITX case to house your 212.

I believe OP is referring to sff cases where there isn't much cpu cooler height clearance and this would offer great cooling for its size.

Very interesting product though, I didn't know this existed. Sadly it won't fit for me.

@vinsanity: You're probably correct, I took his question about ITX literally, but there definitely are smaller cases than the trusty Node 304.
Some of those SFF cases are seriously small, I doubt even one of these would fit in them unless it was designed for it specifically. This would be ideal in the daughters Cooler Master case, but it's just so damn ugly, and I can't see it outperforming a NH-L12s, which would fit in the same form factor. Almost double the cost at $85.10 from Amazon, but the mountains of positive reviews speak for themselves.

good enough to cool a 3900x?

    • +1

Came out before ryzen was a thing, so it doesn't support AM4 natively, only AM2, AM3 and intel 115x.

You might be able to reach out to Corsair to get a bracket that fits, it's not an asetek pump so you can't use the standard AM4 bracket for Corsair coolers.

  • +1

Wish it was a round pump (Asetek), would be interesting to use with the Kraken G12

  • So far my i7-8600 has no issues even in my RVZ03 case, my 5700XT on the other hand… is it just me? Seems like the 8th gen i7 with stock cooler is fine

  • only for VIC.. others no stock and Delivery no stock. so sad.

    • +1

just fyi I tried buying it sat night, got a refund today saying that they don't actually have stock anymore and the wait time would be too long to be reasonable so they cancelled it
