Electricity account and senior concession discount

We have 6 members in the family living in my house, 2 of which are elderly above 70 years old with a senior's card. Can I purchase electricity and water under their names to save some money eventhough I own the house and they pay no rent to me.

They can open an account with the provider using their details.

No. Its only for the owner or the registered tenant.

If it was so I'd simply ask some old codget from a Home to lend me his name.

    • If that old codget moved in with you, you'd get the concession.. that's always an option

Ring your retailer to get an answer. I just added in my parents name on my account as a joint account holder (so that they're financially responsible as well), then add in the HCC/PCC card.

    Firstly,
    Just seniors card - No
    Pensioner Concession Card - Yes
The address on the PCC has to be the address they are living at/ your address. They can only get concessions on 1 address.

    Then
    Electricity/gas - yes
    Water - no
