10% off Eligible Items with AfterPay ($100 Min Spend) @ eBay AU

1430
PAYIN4

Appears it may be site-wide as long as Afterpay is available as a payment method, but could likely excludes specific categories, particularly gift cards.

If you don't like the idea of paying in four installments, you could simply pay off the other installments straight after purchase.

Conditions: The offer entitles you to 10% off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) on Eligible items listed on www.ebay.com.au when you spend $100 or more in one transaction during the Offer Period and check out using Afterpay. A maximum discount of $150 per transaction applies. Multiple items may be purchased in 5 transactions (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction). All monetary amounts specified in these terms and conditions are in Australian dollars (AUD).
Eligible Items means all items listed on ebay.com.au where these terms and conditions are found, and the coupon redemption code PAYIN4 is displayed in the item listing.

    • Which item did you try to add? Did it definitely show up as Afterpay available on the listing?

      The following exclusions still apply:

      Excluded categories
These are the eBay categories where Afterpay isn't available:

Home & Garden > Real Estate
Jewellery & Watches > Loose Diamonds & Gemstones
      Phones & Accessories
      Mobile Phones
      Phone Cards & SIM Cards
      PDAs
      Vintage Mobile Phones
      Services (all)
      Tickets & Travel

      Other Tickets, Travel
Vehicle Parts & Accessories > Vehicle Electronics & GPS
Video Games & Consoles > Video Game Consoles
      Lots More (all)

These categories won't show Afterpay available on the listing (same as stores that aren't eligible for afterpay either). You need to ensure that "or 4 payments of AU $XX.XX with Afterpay" shows on the listing.

      • After pay was an option I selected it and tried to check out. Put in code RIP didn't work. It was from a private seller and didn't work then tried with a big seller on a similar item and it worked. So I think it's a seller thing again

        • Hmm that's odd. I really wish they actually stated the offer restrictions rather than making it all hidden..

          • @doweyy: I can confirm that it does work with various private sellers.
The biggest annoyance to both buyers and sellers is that you don't know in advance what's the limit is for that buyer, so he/she could commit to purchase (like Buy Now or Accept Offer), then get to After Pay, they'd decline saying it's over limit!

            • @Buy2Much: its probably better than previous codes in that more items are illegible but they should have just made it a whole site wide thing. It's still a trial and error method for a lot of items.

      • I just add the item to my cart, and at the end checkout with afterpay rather than going through the hassel of buy it now or something
Thus Add the item to cart and it would work in general

  • saved $69 on the latest model blackvue dashcam

  • I placed an order with a seller but they cancelled the order, presumably because they don't like the 10% off promo (even though they are apparently participating in it). Do I have any recourse here?

  • +1

Does anyone know when this sale ends?

    • I would also like to know this, but interestingly I got an email today from eBay saying it was my last chance to use the 10% off for afterpay deal so I am assuming it ends tomorrow.

    • +1

It seems once the code is used, it expires at the end of that day…I used mine today and it shows end date as 27/5

      • so even though you can have multiple transactions it expires at the end of the day? seems strange but good to know I guess.

  • Says code has expired

  • +1

Ditto. Only realised code was on today, and spent far too long trying to purchase car parts, which for once weren't excluded. Could not get code to work. Some days I really hate eBay.

  • Bugger oh well, picked up one thing and saved $60 which is better than a kick to the balls.

Would have only been a $15 saving on the other item I wanted so ohs well.

  • Bought an item and the seller cancelled it today due to out of stock :(

  • Bugger seen an item i wanted and remembered of this deal but too late as expired would have been nice with 10% off

    • eBay used to be so good with even upto 20% off over like 150 dollars purchase. I miss those days

  • Expired. I was lucky to save up 10 bucks on 100 dollar

  • Any buyer protection using After Pay? That's one of the main reasons I use Paypal.

    • Yes same as it still is considered a PayPal payment.

What do you think of the new Levorg?

      • Sounds interesting, 220kw from a 1.8L, lighter thanks to the new platform. If they're only auto I'm not too keen. I was excited to see a turbo outback coming back into the fray. I've still got a 92 RS Turbo wagon on the road lol.

        • Ahhh, yeah I am in the 3.6 Outback. I also miss manual greatly. I think only WRX have manual now.

Not sure the 2.4 turbo will be as refined as the 3.6. it's a nice engine, now they fixed the CVT in the 6 pot.

If they bring out a manual Levorg, I might be interested.
