    Hi OP. NO Mini USB?

  • +7

Anyone that is interested just remember that the low voltage cut off, set at 11.6v, is equal to your battery having 20%-30% charge. They're great until you cant start your car and you need to purchase a new battery. Something to keep in mind

Blackvue PMP have voltage cut off at 12.5V and 12V which is a bit safer.

Yep, 11.6V is practically useless with regards to protecting your car battery. This kit is NOT suitable for hard-wiring for parking mode, unless your dashcam has its own low voltage cutoff.

  • $13.99 on Amazon for those with prime

Guaranteed to wreck your car battery fast if you let it drain to 11.6V

This. Go below 12V on too many occasions and you'll significantly shorten its life. Better off with:

At a minimum fixed 12V cutoff for $16.90, or better yet,
    Selectable 11.8V to 12.4V cutoff for $23.50 - just don't select 11.8V.

OP keeps posting this stuff, it's just advertising now.

  • Yep, agree with everyone else. This product is useless.

    • Not completely. Add a diode inline (or right size resistor) to get the exact dropout voltage you want… anyone who's done any electronics will have box fulls of spares…
But yep at this price who'd bother…
