So Big W are profiteering in the other states that have the 10 cent buy back. Pathetic.

Not just Big W, all major retailers does too.

How are they profiteering? They're charging $3 more to cover a 10c refund on 30x cans.

    • That's a 24 pack, though?
      $18.40 for 24 cans = 77c per can

      • Showing up as $15 for me.
Or is the site being stupid again and thinking I'm in a different state again?

        • Looks like $15 is the Victorian price.
Interesting (rip off) that the price difference is $3.40 when the container deposit totals $2.40. But that looks to be how it usually goes.

          • @Steempy: The reverse vending machines (maintenance+operating costs) have to be covered too, not just the refund.

            • @ssquid: True, I guess the other way to look at it is that the Big W difference of $3 on a 30 pack is a bargain.
