    damn… its closed back.
At least i wont hear the bus that hit me.

    • the rtings review said you could still hear the rumbles of buses and planes despite the closed design so while that may be a put off for those wanting absolute silence it's probably suited for you! good enough to drown out people, but still hear loud vehicles

    • Why would you wear headphones on the road as a ped?

    • Yeah if it was for an open back model would have jumped on it

Seems you can also get 10$ off if use the mobile app and code APPONLY10.

'Get $10 off only on the Amazon mobile app. Enter code APPONLY10 at checkout.'

Man idk why but these look so good!

But with everything going wireless idk..

    • May because of HD? Wireless can't

But with everything going wireless idk..

BT headphones still can't approach the sound quality of wired, audiophile headphones or even much cheaper entry-level ones for that matter.

*The Sennheiser HD 4.50SE Bluetooth Wireless Headphones with Active Noise Cancellation are also discounted to $139

That's a much better deal for 30 bucks more - I have these for a year now, and the sound quality and battery life is fantastic. Only nitpick is under prolong use, it does get quite warm during the summer.

    • i was actually looking for wireless headphones to use with my computer and tv via bluetooth to watch movies and stuff, do you know if there's any delay?

      • No delays at all. It’s my primary headset for my Panasonic OLED TV, games and zoom calls too.

        • But still depends on what kind of bluetooth transmitter you use.

    • Thanks for the feedback - been looking for some decent value BT over ears

  • App is showing $149 for me.

  • Back to $229

  • For Sennheiser HD 4.50SE // Read issues with longtime wearing hurts due to poor pads and the logo on top of the band gets rubbed off after few weeks or so. Can anyone confirm?

  • Sennheiser HD 4.50SE vs Taotronics BH046?

Those wanting the BT hasn't expired.

for the Sennheiser HD 4.50SE, would it be okay for gaming?

    • no, if you want good wireless gaming don't get this
if you want to use it in wired mode though it's not the worst, but the mic won't work with consoles via wired mode
check this in depth review https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/sennheiser/hd-4-50…
this is ideal for music on the go (commuting, sports, travel etc.)

if you are just gaming/watching movies you want wireless rf headphones

  • Cheers I picked one up for using with electronic drums and keyboard

  • $188 in addictedtoaudio..damn

I literally just got a pair of ATH-AG1X today for $163. I don't know why so many headphones are closed?

    My HD201s - Closed
    ATH-M40x - Closed
    Hyper X Cloud 2's - Closed
    ATH-AG1X - Closed

Usually open headphones cost more/seem to be on sale less. Is there any reason why or are closed just more popular and so there's a bigger target market?

I'd have jumped on these if they were open to replace my M40s for travel/everyday listening

    • +1

Open headphones simulate loudspeakers better. It's as if you are listening to a good stereo front facing setup.
