  • Does this add all DLC to the base game?

    • Yes. It will be released over time as brand new.
Keep in mind that you need to have some expansions for some.
If you want everything you need to have Platinum Upgrade and this Frontier Pass.
That covers everything and you will be busy for 1+ year (s). 😆😉

      • So you need the base game, these DLCs, plus need to buy expansions? I bought some expansions or whatever for the iPad version but I'd need to buy them again for EPIC I guess.

        • You would need the DLCs/expansion for the platform of your choice, Epic or Steam.
But trust me, every serious Civ VI will tell you the DLCs are absolutely worth it and you will get value for your money. Plus playing Civ VI on a PC is plenty better than playing on an iPad.

          • @Lysander: assuming we got the base game for free, and need to pay for this too, how much are all the expansions on top of all that?

            • @AustriaBargain: Epic

              Platinum Upgrade: $44.99
              New Frontier Pass: $44.99

On Steam it would be a lot more expensive if buying from Steam directly.

If buying the Platinum version elsewhere you could be lucky and it is only $10 more than on Epic.

              Main Content/Big Expansions/DLCs are:

              Gathering Storm
              Rise and Fall

I believe those are $14.99 each on Epic at the moment but you need to check that.

              I hope that helps.

              • @Lysander: So you need the base game, which we all got for free. Then the platinum upgrade and new frontier pass for $90. And then Gathering Storm and Rise and Fall to bring the total to $120, and then we'll own everything?

                • @AustriaBargain: The platinum upgrade includes everything up till new frontier pass like gathering storm etc. So if you want everything, you need base game + platinum upgrade + new frontier pass.
Welcome to 2k and paradox games

          • @Lysander: But if I buy this game off Epic, I can't use it on Steam right? I have the full game with the expansion packs on Steam but only have the base game on epic.

  • Paid $50 something only last week..boo…good price

  • +4

$59.99 same standard price as steam. the only reason people may get it at lower is because of the coupon code. So that coupon code is a good deal. not this dlc. otherwise, hundreds of games on epicstore can be posted here as a "bargain". actually, it is exactly what the op has been doing.

    • +1

Does it matter how you get a great price?
When is the last time Steam had a storewide $15 off coupon for games $22.99 or more?
So yes, the coupon brings down the price which makes it a great price.
      That is still $15 saved.
When you could buy the Witcher 3 for $8.69 thanks to the coupon you did not make the same comment there even though the original price was the same as Steam and GOG. I wonder why.🤔🤔🤔
